thats what i have to do with my friends now. the only times ive played with guns were with rentals and then some stuff that totally sucked that i borrowed.
my friend got me hooked. when i went camping with him in emporia i played with a sucky Brass Eagle ( see above) with a totally random laser sight that didnt help. even though i lacked a good gun i had a ton of fun and im trying to get a gun of my own right now.

My friends played and I wanted to play too. So me and my bro got guns for x-mas, they were BE Maraders. They actally shot better with out the barrel. I decided I was tired of getting my ass lit up so I joined here and found an 98c w/ e-bolt for sale, and bought. I took a break for a while and then they opened a new field close by and I'm kinda getting back in.

We were doing a school project at 12 or 13 and it was about some war and we used paintball guns as weapons and we video taped the fighting and dressed in uniforms... and I had never known anything about it until my friend came up with this idea so I borrowed a gun and mask and the rest is history.......

me and a friend were walkin around the woods in teh back of my neighbor hood, and some older people were playing. They seemed to be having a lot of fun, so i read up on it and figured I'd try it...

I actually thought i wouldve seen more comments like mine.
I got 100 bucks from my parents for not missing a day of school one year. Went out to good ol' wally world and bought the best gun at that time.... [cough] It was a talon [/cough]
Anyways me and my brother bassicly spent an hour or so shooting our shed with it. Later that summer my old Youth group took a trip there. I used a 98C and loved the feel of shooting your friends and not killing them.
Got out of it for about a year because my parents divorced, we moved, new school, and what not.
Bought my Mongoose Yesterday...actually.
Took it out this morning and used the bag of free balls i got. Cheap ass paint. I swear to god not one went straight and the 2nd ball through my barrel broke.
Then i went to walmart (10% Off!) and got a bucket of Zap Rec Balls. Beside one football ball i found they were alright and shot a hell of a lot straighter.
Well thats my way too long story....What about yours?

I played on and off for about a year, with a friend who had a Victor II. Rented all the time during then.
Later, we started to play regularly at a field near us, and started to consider getting into it more. As if someone heard us, PBC Charlotte opened up very close to us, and we began to play every other weekend for all day on Saturday.
Because of that, we got intensly into the sport, bought and upgraded Ions as well as other equipment. Then we got together with another friend who now plays with us (Impulse) and put together a 3-man team to start playing.
I credit my getting hardcore into paintball to the fact that PBC is a kickass company and I have 2 PBC proshops and an amazing field all within a 40 minute drive of my house. Getting to meet and get to know Trauma at the field doesnt hurt, either.

All my airsoft buddies are crossing over too, although airsoft is fun as hell to play in a big basement (especially in the winter), and costs next to nothing. paintball is sort of the continuation of our airsoft I guess.

that is exactly how i got into it and i just now figured out that i spent $1500 more on paintball than i would have on airsoft. lol oh well it's so much more fun and the adrenaline gets you going and doing stuff you never would have done in an airsoft game in the woods.

it was 9-10 years ago when my friend's brother bought a Tippman ProAm he shot over the top our fence (he's 6' 2") at the backboard to basketball hoop. a couple days later one of his friend's bought a Spyder Autococker (the hot gun back then IIRC). A couple weeks later i went with them to the woodsball field. The rental guns were Tippys but it was still a lot of fun. I only went with them a couple of times but i had a blast both times until one of our other "friends" went klepto on the autococker's bolt.
So now i've got a Rodeo and have a VL Rvvy on the way. Next up is the HPA tank and after that, i'm hoping to outlaw ball with my coworker and his buddies.

Well about a year ago i went to the local video game store (i was a HUGE gamer and still am now) and saw a game called greg hastings pro tournement paintball and baught it and played it and learned ALOT about paintball just from the game. so i went out and baught a spyder victor 1, and went out to the local field played once with my friend 2v1 versus a guy with a dm4, which lets just say didnt turn out good for us. after that i baught an electric pirhanah then upgraded to an ion.
