so i got the full setup for christmas
i had played paintball once before with my lacrosse team using one shot wonders (not good for noobs)
its a viewloader maxis, all stock and i got the goggs/500 balls/c02 tank/squeege n such
right out of the box
and i was trying it out, hadent read the manual yet so my goggs werent on
the bolt action was chewin out so i just placed it where i thought it should go
looked down the barrel
and shot
and got hit point blank in the face with the 2 inch solid metal bolt action, traveling at the force of a paintball
i got lucky and it hit me right under my eye, giving me a decent shiner for a solid week
i could have lost my eye!
MAKE SURE YOUR BOLT ACTIONS ARE IN AND ALWASE WEAR A MASK
Thats probably one of those stories you should keep to yourself. Its generally a good idea not to look down the barrel of any type of gun loaded or not. Thats some funny **** though.

You're not missing anything. This story is probably BS. There's no way that his bolt traveled all the way down his barrel and shot him in the face. He's just trying to get attention. BTW, you just revived an ancient thread.

Sounds sort of like the time my brother went paintballing when the last kid on his team was surounded. This kid was new and had never been hit by a paintball before, and then said "Im taking the easy way out" and shot himself in the leg instead of just surrendering. Needless to say, he didn't play any more games after that.
