One time sliding across a man made levie (thing that holds water back) i slid into a group of huge weeds/got marked out and later at the half time and saw that my 50$light and laser kit had been slipped out of it's bracket into the grass!!! i never found it!!!
well this wasnt me but a mate of mine (funny guy) was doing a huge sprint for the flag when we were playing woodsball not long ago. did and awsome slide to a bunker. when he started running again he relized he lost his hopper behind the bunker. got SMASHED by paintballs lol
I ran from the right dorito and did a combat roll into the snake (jump them land on your upper back and roll) and took 6 people out from the snake. The field I play at is a woodsball field with a small speedball field, I was wearing my BDU's and using a Mil-Sim 98 Custom, the speedball players were laughing at me before the game, they were complementing me after the game.
Yesterday afternoon we were playing on our field out at the land, and I dove behind one of the new bunkers into a huge patch of poison ivy and other sharp things.
Same field, different bunker, I dove head long behind another of the new bunkers and scraped my head on a tree. I had to call out to clean up the blood.
Another time I combat rolled behind one of the old bunkers when it was new. There was a huge fire ant pile right in front of the bunker that one of the guys shot. That one was more painful than my head I think.
I've also screwed up my knee sliding. Had to go through physical therapy before I could actually walk without crutches. So many stories about sliding and diving.
so i used to play at a local indoor field before it shut down, anyway the playing surface was......well im not quite sure what it was, something like shag carpet that was always soaked through with paint, really easy to slide on, so i got used to that, once i went out to an outdoor field i had never played at so one of the first games i go to slide into the car wash, my knees hit the dirt and grass, ripped straight through the jeans i had and the pj pants under them, took some skin too, so i thought to myself, "may not want to slide today"....well later on im going for a car wash on the oposite side of the field and as im flying through the air i remembered that sliding earlier kinda ended in failure, but its far too late im already coming in for a landing, my knees hit the ground but this time instead of ripping my jeans, my knees stick where they land. That catapulted me, face first into the bunker, well of corse my natural reaction is to put my hands out to catch my fall, so thats what i do, but i have my impulse in my right hand. The impulse kinda hits the ground and then points upward, i didnt know where right now since my face is still burried in the bunker but i could feel my wrist having to rotate more and more. but then i found out where it was pointing......i felt the end of the barrel pressing against my neck and i could also feel my fingers pressing against the trigger but because of the rotation of my wrist i couldnt move them forward, so now i am FREAKING out thinking "NO!!!! DONT PULL THE TRIGGER DONT PULL THE TRIGGER AHHHHHH!!!!"....somehow it didnt fire, either A)i managed not to put enoufgh pressure on the trigger or more likely B) i had already pulled it on the way down and so it hadnt been let up yet. so i had to take a moment behind that bunker to kind of re-colect myself after that, ya no fun at all. but funny to laugh at now......

(what noob wit his first gun dont) i went up 2 him and shot about 130 rounds at him. no lie. 130. he was screaming and cursing me when his teammeate came up and neary got me with his ego. i ran like a cheetah. a slid into my bunker and my trigger frame and grip broke off. i was screwed. i got naild in the testicles 2wice and in the chest 1 time. after that bout a dayy late i went to the docter fo leg pains. i broke my leg sliding into that bunker.

The very first time I played on a legitimate paintball field (not outlaw) I did not know what to expect. I was in high school still (maybe a sophomore) and nobody explained any of the rules to me. Previously, we would play (go until you drop) take as many hits as you want in some woods by my house. So back on the field the whistle blows and paint starts flying off the break. I get hammered in the shoulder twice and attempt to slide and take cover behind a bunker. Remember I did not know the one hit you're out rule. So I poke my head up and try to fire some paint and nothing. My elbow had snapper leaving my hopper lying on the ground 5 feet behind me. The ref saw me and called me out before I even knew it. I didn't get to pay again that day and it was a bad experience overall. I went back and played later that month and had a much better paintball experience.

Been there done that lol. Sucks royal, however for my instance it gave me an advantage for a brief while. (
I had thought ivy but the rash I got was more like poison sumac according to what I've been told. I wouldn't be surprised if it was really sumac, I was playing in a swampy/marshy woodland with plenty of bushes that could have been sumac.)
When I slid into this patch I used it as cover for about an hour, sniped out one of the two opponents left then proceeded to stalk my last target, both of my teammates were out, so it was a one on one gig. (diving into this "patch" gave me the advantage, good cover, and very isolated)
Long story short I end up losing, basically had a duck duck goose match in a tall grass field (the stalk took me out of the woods and into a neighboring field), was in prone crawl for the majority of this stage, with the occasional pop up. The last pop up resulted in a western style draw, I wasn't the quickest gun in the west in this instance. :P
A few hours later during the clean up phase I start breaking out in this horrid rash, swollen tiger stripe marks on my arms, face, hands, and shins. Itched like crazy. This crap lasted for a few weeks.

Hi guys, I am Michael Everio. Just like the same happened my friend. it was 12th June 2004 and I and my friends Chris Freville and Amber Sharman were running for the flag. suddenly, Amber slide to banker and lost his hopper. we continued running and other guys just smashed him.
it was my first time playing in six years and i did more running and ducking than shooting (i run a pre-2k cocker). the field we played at was very bumpy and i went to slide into cover, foot got caught and ended up going face first right into the dorito. but then i shot someone, so it made up for it
Heh.. Here's a good one. When I was 10 I went balling with my dad and about 8 of his friends. We decided to play search and destroy.... not a good idea for me at the time. I couldn't sit still for mroe than like 10 seconds. Lol. Anyway, I was laying in some leaves waiting for someone to walk by so I could shoot them. Well out from behind a bush pops out this guy and shoots me about an inch from my nipple (lol). I grew a third nipple the next day. Lets just say it hurt. Bad. Especially for a 10 year old. Oh, and my supportive dad called it the "Purple Nurple". So if I ever start a paintball team, rest assured it'll be called "Purple Nurple".

I was playing at my local field for the BT big game about a month ago and I was messing around with these guys that were shooting at me by running back and forth between two buildings (I like to have a little fun). Until finally I got a little to cocky and tried to dive behind cover but my ankle got stuck on a root or bush or something and I fell face first into the ground and got shot In the arm. Not that amazing but I couldn't stop laughing about It to myself.
