On my last day of paintball for the season I have seen on of the most hilarious things of my whole paintball experience. Two teams were about to play against each other, one team of three smacktalking rich 13-14 year olds all in jerseys with ego 08s and expensive stuff, versus a team of 18 year olds wearing sweatshirts and using rental tippmann 98's. So the game starts off and one 18 year old runs up with his tippmann held sideways like he was from the hood and runs up halfway up the speedball field without getting hit. He hits two of the 13 year olds and those young kids call the game over. The other 13 year old shoots the gangster guy and then the gangster guy turns around and lights him up with the tippmann. The thirteen year old starts crying and yelling at him. That kid then tells the refs about that 18 year old about not using field paint and then the refs reluctantly have to ban him from the field.
So those kids who suck at paintball and have equipment that they shouldn't have should just stay home. This is a real disease at most paintball fields lets stop please
it is annoying, but think about it this way; if you were 13-years old and you had a lot of money wouldn't you want to buy all this nice gear?
ya but thats the thing, 13 year olds never have that sort of money. Mommy and Daddy have the money, and they buy little Jr. what ever he wants because he is a spoiled brat. He then brings that "king Sh!t" attitude with him onto the paintball field and it drives everyone crazy.
I would rather play a smaller game with only 16-17+ age than a larger game including the ankle biters.
I'm a 13 year old, but not like that. All of the stuff I use was a hand-me-down or I got used. Smack talking is pointless and dumb, because what do you get out of it? If I had the money I would buy nice stuff, but I don't beg for it, I work for it.
Many are like that, but dont get fooled.
We had a 14 year old with a ego etc...but he was no spoiled kid, that dude knew how to play and played very very well.
Don't look down on people until you've played them.

no no no when i was 13 i played paintball with a good ole tippmann you should be able to play at any age its just annoying because there are those group of spoiled kids, yea there are some that are pretty chill and are cool, but the ones who get their stuff by just asking their parents for it, they should have to work for it and when they have it they shouldn't be arrogant. I AM NOT SAYING ALL 13 YEAR OLDS ARE LIKE THIS EVEN IF THEY HAVE A GOOD GUN.
yeah dont get me wrong, i prob worded my post wrong. I am not generalizing ALL 13year olds, my one MUCH younger brother is around that age, he has a basic spyder and is very respectable. And likewise, most 13 year olds with "basic equipment" are usually much more respectable because more times than not they actually had to do something for the little that they do have..save allowance, cut lawns, birthdays etc. I was just talking about the 13 year olds that walk onto the field with $1000+ worth of equipment. And if you don't have an ego09, rotor, i4's and full apparel then they automatically think they are better than you and they have the biggest ego's on the block. Now obviously i know there are a few select youngins out there with wicked equipment who respect the game, their equipment and all around them. But most of them are brats that get all their stuff from mommy and daddy.

I'm almost 15 and I could afford a DM9 or even a sl8r, but why spend 1-2k if you havent even learned all the rules or even gotten good! The expensive markers should be the last step; not the first.

So a guy that is eliminated turns around and lights up the kid that shot him? Who are you *****ing about the young kids with nice gear or the older kids with crap gear that happen to be asshats?
I hate people whining about others that have nicer stuff. Welcome to the real world some people just have better stuff than others and you can either play on or you can do what you are doing now and assuming they are all spoiled and don't appreciate or deserve (whatever that means) what they have. Even if they don't so what? Paintball is a great leveler it doesn't matter how old you are or what you are using because all you have to do is put one ball on target.

Drac, I've got all the gear you just mentioned haha and just so happens I'm 17. Alot of my gear I paid for myself, yet my parents have still picked up the tab for a fair amount of my gear. I do know the stero type you are talking of though, we don't have any little fellows running around with ego's but a handlefull of people my age running around w/ions thinking they are the next big thing in paintball.
