Personally I haven't gotten too many people to surrender...
A couple of years ago there was a time I was playing capture the flag woodsball and a player comes right out in front of me and yells surrender, I shot him 3 times and he then shot me a couple, in the end wouldn't it have been better to just do something else. (He has a nasty bloody welt on his side.

So how have you gotten people to surrender?

Unless there's a surrender rule in effect you wont' get anyone to surrender.

We rented some Tipman 98c and got about 2000 paint balls and we headed out to the field the first game we played was Woodsball when we were going on teams and stuff i heard some people talking about some pro being in the game. Anyways near the end of the game i was the last one in and the "pro" was last one to me against him. Now i was shooting at him but nothing was coming out, i ran out of paint balls. And i forgot one of the rules that im supposed to quit when i ran out of paint balls. The guy comes up to me like 10ft and shoots me it didn't really hurt all that much as i had a crap load of adrenaline pumping. The next game we played was speed ball i yet again was the last one in the game. This time it was me against 2 kids around my age , they were at there beginning base hiding and i was hiding behind a big plastic pipe thing . i got up and charged at the 2 kids i shot one as he jumped in the air and the other went running down the other side of the field i chased him and was shooting while running i finally shot him in the head. then he jumps in the air and a paintball gets him in the nuts .
