Cold Sweat
This is also another last Saturday story.
Ok, the game had gotten really intense that day in the orchard. Three of our guys got wiped out at the near end of the game and we had only three guys left. The other team had an estimation of about two guys left. But they weren't going to come down easy. Myself, PJ and Steve were hidden in the heavy shrubs and were beginning to wait. As the other team moved in and around our territory that we had given up in the feirce skirmishes during that battle we awaited them. Then finally one came into my sights. I flipped the light switch on my point sight on and aimed up through it. Then I took my shot and hit my target straight squarely in the chest.
The second man holding a Kingman pulled up from the trees nearby and found PJ, myself and Steve. The shots continually barraged us until we were scattering. I moved through the bushes and tried finding a place to hide.
But as I ran Steve came up behind me and we jumped over a few random roots. Then we came to a stop as we heard a loud CRAACCCKK! I looked up and saw a branch about 15 feet long fall from the tree nearby. It smashed down and hit the ground about ten feet from myself. I was so shaken that when Steve told me to run it took my body a little time to go.
Then finally Steve and I were around our enemy when we saw PJ go all out rushing at him. The shots came from PJ's rebel bottomline fast but his attack was fruitless. He was hit in the mask once and the chest twice. Then the attacker came from his hiding place and began walking down the small path that lead up to where our flag was. Steve and I rushed out from the bushes and hit him so badly from the back he still complains about the aches until today. Then again, it has only been a week.
