Just before this game me and another guy had been looking at the posibilities of making the snake off the break, and we decided that with the field like it was it was possible, if you stayed low enough, and slid at the right time. So i went for it. I made it clean off the break too. But when i slid in my feed neck and hopper come off (yes, somehow the threads on the feedneck pulled out... i dont quite know how, i was afraid it might have stripped something but it didnt). So i spend the next 5 minutes sitting in the snake fixing my gun, finally get it back together, pop out, shoot at someone, shoot and hit someone else as they try to enter the snake with me, and then get shot from cross field.

Sweet job getting an elimination with the broken hopper. Other people mayhave just quit but you helped your team out. My revy snapped off once too after tripping on a root at the beginning of a game. I didn't get anyone out but I distracted the enemy team enough by shooting single shots that we ended up losing much slower.

Our first tourney in the first game my front guy takes off runnin for the snake and his hopper goes rollin... Then he tries to run back and get it and gets shot... at least your stayed near you dude.

yea if u have a neck still on, and yer in a tourney or an important game, take a pod, and hold it onthe neck- keeps u in the game that much longer until you can grab yer hopper.

where i went today there is no snake bunker because the field is a mixture of woods kinda,a wood bunker city sort of thing with lots of bunkers and what we call the "plateau" which is where the flanking goes on...
