if she doesnt' want to play, then she's not going to have fun even if you get her out there.

try and find a field that has a lower FPS rule. back when i ran the camp paintball field i chronoed all the markers to around 265 because i found the same thing, there were a lot of people who were interested but scared but once they took a fit from 265 and felt it was not so bad they were all willing to go out and tear it up.
in reality there is not a whole lot you can do if she is unwilling but if you can coax her into at least trying that first game typically thats all it takes
that and my GF is BA. she actually took to it quite well, while its not a huge addiction for her she does enjoy playing and will come with me on occasion.

She's pretty girly, so the lower fps thing probably won't bode well anyway. Good idea, but I think that all the fields here are from 285-300 anyway.

we both like to climb things, just got our outdoor gear all put together about 2 months ago for some sport climbing and got lead cert so we can do it in the gyms as well. I may join her for the mud things at some point. But ya, she gets out and does a lot, not your typical girly girl which is fine by me, one of my exs was that way, could not leave the house without a half hour or more in the bathroom doing the hair and it was the end of the world if a single rain drop hit it after we were out.
life lesson, more make up = more problems

yea i was too tired to find a good video of it.
Basically, you run a pretty good distance while doing challenges through the event. These involve getting very dirty, ice cold water, and things you may need to rely on others to help you with

It's a fun event. I did one a few years ago. My girl isn't super girly girl, but she won't do that type of stuff at all. At least she enjoys going to comic con, and watching batman...

Ok here are my stories:
One upon a time, there was me playing my second paintball game ever on my 12th birthday party with some of my friends (the first one was on my 10th birthday I think). So two things happened that game. First: There was this friend of mine, who was too tall and muscley for his age (he was also twelve, the damn guy already used weights to workout and had his personal gym at home), after just about four minutes of the beggining of the game, he already finished all of his hopper (We all only had 100 rounds for the game) and he was demanding me to give him some of mine because he was out, but is was his fault tto he was stupid enough to spray his paintballs like a retard to a distance he wasn't even going to reach (He was trying to shoot at the guys from the other team that haven't even moved jet from their side of the field and he was at the other end completely and wasn't even tilting up his marker ). Second, at some point all of my team left me on one side of the field and all of the other guys where hidin behind bushes at the other sie of the field, but I was the only one visible for the other team, so suddently, I had like half of the other team shooting at me while I sprinted for my life through the bushes. I could here dozens of paintballs trying to reach me. One gt me right in my elbow, and I swer it got e on a nerve because it hurted like hell. The worst part is that a second paintball got me on my other elbow and I swear it also got me on a nerve, because after that the pain made me trip and I stayed on the ground panting for the pain, while I had to listen to my teamates, who just arrived, calling me a big baby.
On another game, about two years later, some friends went paintballing and they told me that they where playing capture the flag with just one fla. There was this guy, which everyone hated, that got the flag. He made the mistake of yelling out loud that he had the flag. At that moment, even his own teammates started shooting at him (the flag was on top of a small hill). He left the game half crying with a huge brusie on his le, where most of the shots feel. Por guy, I used to hate him to, but he was just twelve or thirteen years old.
This last story is one that didn't really happen but once a friend told me, like seven years ago, that the first time he played paintball was at a portion of the city that was abandoned and that they played a big game. He claimed he got a short shotgun that was very heavy. He then told me that hw got two guys out at the beginig. He got one guyby shooting at his back, and another one by shooting him int the balls, he said the shot it with his "shotgun atpoint blank and that he started to squirmon the wround while he laughed his ass off. Then he told me that he was so good that his team got jealous of him an that the two team made an alliance against him and that even like that he won the game by himself. I didn't know painbtall at all back then, so I wasn't sure about the shotgun thing being real or not, but I was unsure abut the story. I was naiive back then, but now me and a friend like to bother him with that stupid story he made up to try to impress me. What is even worse is that I own him most of the time while we play now (He will never admit that I'm better than him, but I am THE paintball player in my neightbourhood).
@All of you:
It seems I'm the only single guy in the forum , what a pain.

Yep - Single myself.
I don't remember Max's rough age - but it would seem mid-late teens. While I'm not the oldest on here, I rank up there among them at 28...meaning that's about a 10 year age gap.
While you'll frequently hear people claim "Age is just a number, maturity matters" - that's only half true. Its great to hold a discussion with someone who thinks with the intellect of someone in your peer group...but you can't substitute the life experience. Politics is a great example of this - Its great to have an informed conversation with someone who is well read into politics.. but until you've put 5-10 years into a corporate or shift-based workforce... knowing just how much a 2% FICA tax hike impacts you - and whether you'll be using your vote to re-elect the a-hat congressman who didn't give a hoot about the middle class...so long as his interests were protected up to 450,000/yr joint or the first 5 mil of investments? Yeah...life experience.
Either way - the whole girlfriend argument is very very much like the "I"m not 16/18/21 yet!" issue. Having a driver's license is a big deal to someone 14...but at 26 - its an expense. Being able to buy smokes/p0rn/strippers/lotto tickets is a big deal to a 16 year old - again - to a 26 year old.. they're an expense or vice. Being able to drink is a big deal to a 19 year old - but to a 26 year old.. its an expense/vice...
and when you put it all together - you have a drinking/smoking dual addiction that only happens around adult entertainment facilities that you drunkenly drive home from - to the tune of $15k in fines and court fees....
growing up is an expense. So are women. Lol.
Before I get jumped on - assume "cost" and "Expense" to not be limited to a financial element - but also to include time, relationships, friendships, and hobbies.
Don't get me wrong - I'm not saying that ladies aren't a great time, and spending time and providing them attention...etc. aren't beneficial to you - but there's a cost-benefit analysis that most people naive to the situation aren't aware of. They require time, attention, and for the most part...money. Do you have excessive time and money to spare? If not, are you willing to give things up to take on the costs of a relationship?
Its all things to think about before taking that plunge. Unfortunately - the discussion had among friends emphasize sexual conquest..more so than actually informing you of how different things are.

I'm 26 and i'm single. it's a terrible reminder how much my life sucks every morning when I wake up. I spent more when i had a girlfriend, but I also had a lot more fun. Now i go to work, come home and sit on my computer till it's bedtime.

That part does suck...
...and when you do randomly wake up next to someone - oh the thoughts that go through your head...
Do I remember her?
Did I invite her?
Do I remember inviting her?
What's her name?
Am I sure?
Where's her purse so I can double check?
Is she a sound sleeper?
Am I in my own room?
and the most important one:
Is she going to be thinking the same **** when she wakes up?
