eh, I don't go about bringing random girls home with me, or spend my nights getting wasted. When I started drinking, I had stomach problems, so usually when i'm starting to get drunk, all i can think about it throwing up and then i'm done drinking; It's a curse, but it saves me money I suppose.

Heh - sorry - reminiscing in moments of compromised judgment... the college years were ... I can't say fun..but entertaining.

Like I tell all my little cousins - Life's gonna suck when you grow up!

Far as the drinking went - I never got in trouble with it- but I wasn't blessed with the stomach issues Martix had. I don't remember much of 21...

Speaking about alcohol. I started drinking less than a month ago and this new year's eve my dad introduced me to tequila. I made the mistake of drinking both the tequila he gave me and champange. I didn't get drunk, but the combination of the alcohol and all of the mexican food and yunk I ate during the day was like an explosion in my stomach and head . I'm not an alcohol fan.q

PS I just turned 18, I guess I'm not that bad after all . That reminds me, tomorrow I have to go for my driver's licence (Finally ).

lesson #1.

do not mix alcohol; it's just not a good idea.

I think my stomach issues were stress induced. I just moved out on my own and was actually working to live, instead of working to play around. Sometimes I still get sick though so who really knows. The doctors did all sorts of tests and never found anything. I lost a ton of weight in a matter of about 3-4 months (150ish down to 115)

And then... you'll leave public education - have to fend for yourself, and will become as jaded as the rest of us...haha!!

About the booze thing - No..never a good idea to mix diffrent alcohol types - Its part of the reason that Black+Tan's are so effective.

The current "thought" rule is not to go from light to dark or change mixers. It occurs because your body metabolizes different types of alcohol differently. If your body is used to metabolizing the molasses alcohol element found in Rum..its going to poop its self if you're attempting to metabolize the grain mash alcohol elements of a whiskey.
This is why people have a "poison".

Far as tequila goes - Lots of tequila is cheaply made...this was an issue for me early on. They'd take tequila made from a lower percentage of Agave nectar and market it as reposado or silver. A better tequila is going to be 95%+ agave. There is truth in the concept of "you get what you pay for" - though for Tequila I've found my personal satisfaction point to be around $30USD/Bottle (Milagro Reposado) where Patron is $55, and Jose is $17ish. Remember - you get what you pay for - BUT - only to a point.

So - Lesson #2 about alcohol. Most "drinkers" I've come to know have a poison, and a chaser. One hard liquor, and one low alcohol drink to sip on between consumption of the high proof. They tough out the initial headaches and issues, and learn to metabolize the multiple types of alcohols.

Your problems will come from drinking a shot of gin, followed by a beer, followed by tequila, followed by a beer, followed by vodka, followed by a different kind of beer.

Pick your ponies..and ride them. You'll have fewer problems and fewer hangover side effects the following morning if you drink in moderation.

Lesson #3 should be about hangover recovery (potassium, water, and B vitamins)

Lesson #5 - never drink because you think you need one, are angry, to prove a point, or because you've located an excuse to drink.

None of those situations ever end well.

never be afraid to have a beer, and call it a night. Every time you drink, you don't need to get drunk.

#7 Getting drunk is not the point where you feel drunk. Its unfortunate, but its the point where your personality filters start to become questioned. If you're feeling rambunctious, invincible, or like getting hyper chatty - you're probably already drunk

#8 - Choose the individuals you drink around...very...carefully. If they behave in a manner you don't agree with, disassociate yourself from them quickly. You are an accomplice and will also be responsible for their actions.... also - its never fun to drink with the crying girl.

#9 - different alcohol types will provoke different emotions or provide different effects. Sample these early, identify what they provoke in you, and make your poison choice accordingly.

#10 - Alcohol is actually ingesting poison. Literally. Keep that in mind every time you open a drink.

I'll stop - this is a super-derail.

Ba, it doesn't matter, we always derail everything .

Don't worry, I'll never allow myself to get drunk for personal reasons.

I actually have private education, does that change something ?
Up here? It means that your parents have sheltered you - and the moment you get your first taste of the real world - you go out and try pot and cocaine... get drunk, become promiscuous..and all but bomb your chances of continuing your education beyond your 1st year of college....

...oh, and if you're female- you're sought after by most publicly educated guys - as you're known as a repressed minx.

Sterotypes yes... but the private schooled blue eyed blonde lived up to them nicely. Was with that one for 3 years. Then she started in with my best friend. Minx...

Far as drinking goes - If you have $100 USD.. I'd make that bet. Everything changes when peer groups change.

I have $100 USD, I'm willing to bet. By the way, there are only two public universities in my city: Universidad de Guadalajara (UDG) (University of Guadalajara), and Universidad CETI (CETI University) which is really a technical school, so there is really only one. The other available universities are private (which ironically, all of them have a worse level than UDG, but that's because UDG is the second best university in Mexico . The first one is UNAM (National Autonomous University of Mexico)).

Private education in Mexico is different than in the USA. Having a private education here actually means that you are getting enough education, not better. Public education in Mexico is extremely bad. A teacher doesn't even need to have high school studies to teach (and it woudn't even matter, because high school studies suck when it's public high school). That is all because of two organizations: The Institutional Republican Party (PRI) and the Teachers Labor Union, which is the most powerful Labor Union in Latin America. It's leader doesn't want Mexico to have a good education because she wants the country to remain stupid. The fault thet the PRI has is that they didn't do anything fo fight against it, they prefered to sit down and do nothing while their pockets got filled with the country's money. Now that they see she has to be removed after 70 years of doing nothing (she hasn't been there for that long, but that's the amount of time the PRI had the presidential power and did nothing but steal the people's money) they find her being the leader of a huge monster. Believe it or not, it is more critical to have her in jail than all of the main drug dealers.
By the way, here is her picture, hope you can sleep today:

So don't worry, even though I was blessed with actual superior studies, I have a good taste of real life. Remember Mexico is a second world country.

Some kid got out. Then instead of walking behind me, he walked infront. Out of reaction I shot and nailed him point blank. To make it better the kid was like 8 years old. When I walk out of the field I heard him tell his dad, "thats him". His dad didn't say anything but yea, that is the dumbest thing I saw.

Yea I did feel kind of bad, but that should have taught him a lesson. Hey I'm sure now he isn't scared to get hit any more. That is because that was the worst it could feel. Exept for a nut shot.
