Why I quit Tournament Paintball...
The truth is here.
About a month and a half ago, we had a big team meeting. we had already played 11 local tournaments and won 8 of them. So we decided to move up to amatuer soon. Well our captain told us that we would be playing the PSP Denver Open. so for regestration, paint, air, gas for cars, hotel, food, etc. it was going to be roughly $550 a person. Some of it would be fun money down there.
So we all gave our captain the money and he said he got everything setup and we were regestired. We were all sooooo excited. So the next team practice, he dosen't show up. We tried calling his house from the field and it said their phoneline was disconnected.
So we waiting until next team practice and he still didn't show. Phone was still disconnected to.
So 2 days later, all of us gathered up and drove an hour and a half to his house, and it looked abandoned. One of their neighbor's said they moved to England.
So there you have it. We all got ripped off.
550.00 times 8 people....4400.00
I lost 550. If he didn't scam us... I would be in Denver RIGHT NOW.
------------------------------------
So that's my story if anyone of you were wondering why I quit Tourney ball...

I don't know, that's a major theft, I'm sure he'd be easy to track, you could get Interpol involved and catch him within the day.

Key words. England is our ally, and they'd probably OK it. Or, if it became an Interpol case, Interpol can do it.
NOTE: Interpol is the international police.

But to go over there and get my 550, i need an adult to get plane tickets and such and the trip would be like 4000 dollars for 2 people just to get 550 back.
I got screwed.

Wow, I find it pretty bad that he would run to England and steal your money and give up living in the United States and not sell his house/abandon it for a measly $4000, unless he was already planning on living in England? He might be back, who knows, but that just goes to show you that you can't trust anyone these days. It's really hard to find an honest/trustworthy person. What you need to do is stay in tournaments, find another team, and get really close to your captain and teammates, kind of like family. I guess some people just get unlucky, live and learn. Sorry to hear about this, your captain is a backstabbing a**hole. Anyways, stay in tournies if you can find a trustworthy team. Good luck to you in the future.

It is beyond me why your captain would see it logical to spend a long time with your team to scam a mere 4grand. I mean sure its 4grand, but you can jack a car in an hour. I know, the chances of being caught are higher but you get the point.
