Night Vision Mask?
i was at boston paintball last weekend usin my (****ty) mask, which happens to have a blue-tint lense on it. Anyway these younger kids id say at most 10 see my mask and whisper to each other. "Woah thats like HALO"..and the other one goes "Noooo, its night vision!!"... im not bashing 'newbs' because they were saying it cuz they were little, not cuz they were noobs. it was just funny to hear lol

One time i got night vision for xmas. Turns out all it was was a green lense with little flashlights that go on the lens. Sigh.

Reminds me of that one time in the first Jurrasic park where the little kid is like "Cool, night vision". Then the stupid chick wouldn't turn the flashlight off, I mean seriously how hard is it to turn a freaken switch? It's her fault here brother got cut up and such.

A nightvision paintball mask? Thats not milsim. First of all, it would be impossible with today's technology. HUD's are old technoogy, and if you had realtime recordings and computer enhancement, you could get things outlined in red and white to show player's positions...
Augmented Reality Displays are just experimental right now, ebcuase of the size and battery power, not to mention the time it would take to survey an area, not to mention the millions of dollars you'd need in equipment to survey the area.
Currently, the AN-PVS 7B and PVS 14 are the two military issued nightvision systems. I'm not even sure if they're still giving out PVS-7's.
Biggest problem with Nightvision is that you usually get tunnel vision, which is why the military switched to the PVS-14. Its a monocle instead of a goggle, so you can have one eye available outside the scope.
If there was nightvision for paintball masks, I think you would see our militayr running aroudn with invisions and profilers. Its really more of a scifi concept right now.
Nightvision and paintball will never work. First of all, becuase of the lens on the mask. Unless you had a scope small enough to fit inside your mask, and that kind of technology isn't readily available.
Don't talk abou the stuff Alpha wants unless you are Alpha.

night vision would be kinda stupid cause the whole purpose of playing nighttime is so you cant see verywell.
but it would be kinda fun.
