starter pump marker
I play with a semi and i want to buy a pump so i can build up my skills. What are some cheap pumps that you can mount something like a 9oz c02 tank and a 200 round hopper on. Thanks

I would suggest a SL-68 II, the best place to get those now is ebay and they run about 50-70 dollars there. Only bad thing is that it can be hard to get parts for them because they are discontinued.

ive decided on the maverick. It has a good reputation of being consistant, accurate stock, dependable, and fast for a pump. Are there any barrels that i can put on the maverick? Are thare any spring kits that will fit in the maverick? All help will be appreciated. Thanks

well, I'm a little latew, but I recommend either a kingman hammer (one that uses spyder threaded barrels) or a sheridan p-12. the sheridan will prolly run about $100, but the hammer should be under $60. I got my hammer for $25, because it was "broken" but I don't like nelson-based pumps. I like my BE cobra

they still sell them? wow. hmm, I prefer the hammer over the maverick, but they're essentially the same gun, performance wise. only thing you want to make sure of, though, is not to get a powerfeed hammer. that was when the quality started going downhill (much like modern spyders, the newer hammers were built to try to flood the market)
