it's a great pump to start out with.

the PMI Trracer is pretty much the same thing as the ACI Maverick. i have a maverick.

if you want to spend less, trracer/maverick.

if you want to spend more, phantom. it'll be better, and a much more flexible platform (easier to change to stock class etc.)

it's up to you

Having shot both, I would say Phantom for the simple reason that it will last longer, has more upgrades, and is a better constructed marker.

But thats just my opinion... Shoot both, then decide which is best for you.

PGP or P-68 SC. The P-68 is better than any phantom

whitewolfairsmithing.com or wevopaintball.com

A stock class phantom runs a little over 200, i know there are cheaper alternatives if you are just testing the water (such as the pgp)

It woudl be a pretty pointless idea to put on a macro. Youd loose the sweet hardline and youd loose efficiency.

how does the accuracy of the tracer stack up to the phantom? I originally was set on a phantom, but my friend made me question it because you can find tracers on ebay for 30 bucks used. I just need an opinion in whether the phantom's worth the money.
