phantom trigger shoe

will someone plz explain what it is and what it does. and does it come stock on most new phantoms or is it mostly aftermarket? thanks!

The stock trigger of a phantom is a stamped metal piece that is somewhat thin and uncomfortable. The triger shoe slides over the trigger, making the part of the trigger that you grip much wider and more comfortable.

They generally do not come stock on the phantom, but you can get a shoe for less then $5 usually from any number of vendors.

Get the picture? It took me a while to understand as well, but it made perfect sense once I actually picked up my phantom and saw it there.

well, i dont quite get it stil... so it's just a wider/ thicker platform for the trigger? well, when i get a phantom this summer, ill probably get it. thanx 4 the input MedicDVG.

yeah, it just makes the trigger more comfortable and easier to use (thats what i got from medics post anyways)
