mods are very limited. that marker is ment to be a tank. It is rock solid and you really can't do anything unless you are doing it custom on your own. here is one from carter that has some cool guy stuff done to it.

from what I have seen it is very difficult to get aftermarket barrels thanks to the design of the pump handle. That wasn't exactly something everyone was worried about back then and the sl series was more of a warhorse for rentals and rec play. Just be happy it is threaded in the first place. You could have someone smith it for you but that will cost more than the gun is worth. try docsmith wwa or anyone else you know who is good with pumps..they are kinda few and far between. JJ made a barrel but thats the only aftermarket Ive heard of. they make good barrels so if you really wanted to upgrade try them out.
SL-68 :: Barrels :: CountySports.com (paintballs ,paintball marker, paintball gun, paintball mask, paintball goggle, paintball harness, ACI, ANS, action markers, Airgun Designs, Armotech, Bob Long, Brass Eagle, Dye, Diablo, Dragun, Eclipse, Evil, Gam
thats the only place I have seen them in my quick search for you.
