SL-68 mods

Should this be in the tippmann forum? I figured I throw it here.

Anyways, I'd like to be aware of any mods that I can do to my SL-68 that I'll be getting off ebay soon.

On most stock tippmanns the trigger pull is like 600 pounds. Anything I can do to lighten it up a bit?

If you can find a new barrel for it, get it. They can be hard to come buy. I think J&J might make barrels for the sl68's. As for trigger pull I cant really help you there because I have never tried to work on one.

I don't think it would be hard to modify the trigger pull. Just lighten the spring, and lengthen the little block thing. Just like any other mech trigger.

A new barrel would help a lot. I'm not sure, but would a reg help? It would make it more consistent, and that's always nice.

I wish the sticky was still here. But basically It's a sturdy machanichal beast. Every thing you CAN do to reduce friction, easy the springs and lighten actions is an upgrade. I know Armson used to have barrels bunt dont know now. As I said in the other thread I would concider getting a 12 oz. Syphon.
