Question Does anybody carry a sidearm? Opinions.

I've been looking at various semi pistols like the Extreme and I've heard of a few others. What are the best and worst of what's available? Are they even worth the money? A buddy of mine had a PT Enforcer that leaked and never shot over 220.

The Delta is a nice one, or so I've heard. Any semi-auto pistol should do fine.

Side-arms are only worth it if you are going to play a long scenario game, or if you are playing outlaw ball, and you don't get any CO2 refills. They are basically readily available back-up CO2, but look a lot cooler. For cheapness/usefulness sake, I'd just get another tank, and put it in place of a pod.

If you were worrying about running out of paint, just get some pods. Playing pump will help you conserve paint, and will save you some cash. <- That's what you get for asking in the pump forum.

Well, the reason I ask is because the majority of the games we play are mostly with pumps (a few low end semis walkin around) in the woods surrounding a friends house, and we usually require everyone to play with a 45 round hopper, even the semi's, to keep things on an even keel. So my thinking is that in the event the little hopper runs dry on the pump (not easily refillable) I could go to the sidearm to get myself out. The one I've seen that interests me most is the PT Extreme Jr., but I read that it is exactly the same size as the new Delta and that the new Delta is better. I know that a lot of these were plagued with leaks, but I haven't seen that many reviews of the PT Jr. or the Delta.

Either get the Zeus or the Delta 68
The quick release for the CO2 cartridge of the deltas have been known to leak CO2
Where as the screw on's on the Zeus seal much better but take longer to change out CO2. Personally though, Id go with the Deltas they look great. The problems with the cup seal on the deltas was recently fixed and upgraded cup seals are available for the old deltas.

Has anybody had any experience with the PT Extreme Jr.? I liked the idea of that one because of the enclosed air chamber (as opposed to the quick release Delta which I've heard leaks a bit) and it being a couple of inches shorter. That was my first choice, but the Delta is the later model isn't it?

i have the delta and love it, it never leaks from that spot some one said above, there is a screw to tighen it so it doesnt leak, it wont shoot above 280, but then again i dont need it to shoot farther then 20 - 30ft. its never let me down yet, pump games that allow semi pistals is the greatest.lol
