Im from Germany and we are here like the Paintball-Game was brand new.
The Markers are extremly Expensive(Phantom 350€ that make about $390, if you want an Angel its worth like two Cars , about $1800)
and Fields are seldom. You are not allowed to play just in the Woods or something like that. If you get caught you have to pay about $5000.
Paint is Expensive too.
Sometimes i look down in your Paintballstores online , and i get tears in my Eyes. All the stuff is that cheap.

haha that sucks. if you want a phantom, i think archer or someone else might ship to germany. well i can say is "haha" and , well you could always just move to america, but then we would be overpopluated cause of you and all your relatives, and we would have to have more drunk drivers to size down the population... so that's a no.

Americans really can't speak poorly about drivers from other countries. We tend to have some of the worst drivers around because many people would rather do anything except actually pay attention to their driving. (cell phone, eat, etc) From what I understand about German culture they tend to repect the destructive force of a car more and actually pay attention. Even the Autobahn (sp?) with few daytime speedlimits has a slightly less death toll rate then our average die/highways.

Gonzalez, mabe over time you could make some trustworth friends here who would be willing to purchase and ship PB stuff to you. There's a chance that a big part of the price difference may be because of import tax issues so there might not be any legal way around it. Also with PB as regulated as it is over there is it even possible to order markers off the net to be imported?

From your view it looks like that.
The real reason of a lower death rate on streets is because we have a counter system that is called Point-System. That means every thing you do like drive too fast , over redlight , under Alkoholinfluence, Drugs ,even wrong parking and so on will take points. You count that points minimum 3Years and if you have 8 points (for example 2 points for redlight missing) you loose your driving licence for a month. with 12 for a year. and with over 18 in one year you loose it for ever. That points are Counted in Flensbourg in a Big Computer even if you do mistakes in Europe.
This is the reason why we Drive with more respect.....

But back to Paintball:
Germans cant bye Markers from other Countrys because to use it legal it have to have a "F" sign on it. These sign can only be made by tested Marker from the Goverment. Every Marker that is played legal has it.
If you ship it for example to me the "zoll" (Govermentpolice) take it and destroy it. Just official Dealers cant ask the govermant to put a "f" sign on it.
And you are Aloowed to play up to 214 fps. More than that is illegal.

So you see, two Examples why you live in Heaven.

They seem to be very strict over there. I mean about a lot of things, but by the way you speak of paintball, it sounds like it is disliked over in Germany. Is it popular there? Are many people against it? 214 fps is not that fast compared to how people play over here, or at least I think. Why don't they want you to get a gun out of Germany? Do they think that it will make paintball businesses out of business, or do they put restrictions on each individual gun?

Yes Paintball is disliked by the most. They think immediatly of "Wehrsportgruppen". Thats people who "play" War in the Woods. Nobody wants that. But in the poeples mind it is still there. They think if poeple have Paintball Guns they practice how to kill someone and after the know how they bye a real weapon and try it.
Of course that is Bullsh i t. Now , in Germany we have to show all the rest that paintball is sports , thats why Camouflage is forbidden on most of the fields. And of course everything has to be save. Thats the reason why every Marker Manufactor has to build two kind of springs: one(about 300fps) for the world, and one (214fps) for Germany. The thing with the "f" sign is just for making money. If a German can only by at a German dealer there are no others who destroy their Prices.No others and they can make prices they want. And the real thing is: take your prices put 100-200% on it and you have German prices. Sad but true. Ok the "f" sign is just for markers and things that are important for markers like body , barrel, grip.

Typical Europe:

It seems to me that in Europe, you guys pay such high taxes so the state can make the rules they want and do whatever they want. It's more like the individual exists for the state instead of the other way around. I feel sorry for you. And European countries want us to be more like them. No offense, but I am much happier in America than I would ever be in Europe.

well in my area paintball is very popular and there are many tournements. and at my field we can shoot up to 300 fps. Part of this is due to i live by an american military base and my dad works their. so im a lucky ***** while gonzalez is rotting in hell. and ill be back in the states in a few years

yes , the Ground from the american Base is counted like American Ground.
And on US Ground there are US Rules...
Thats why you can play in the middle of Germany with US rules.

yes but their are also german tournements, but you have to be 18 to enter.

As long as you play on base you do not need the f-stamp. also...you can order online and get shipped over there.
