ok you have to have clear parts to start.

1 go to like a craft store and get RIT fabric dye ( $1.31 +tax for me). THERE IS LIKE 20 COLORS

2 get a big pot bigger the better

3 fill 4/5 with water

4 bring water to a mild boil

5 pour in all the dye and stir it in.

6 string all your clear parts on like string or thread.

7 dip in 10 second increment. keep it to long in the dye and it will warp the plastic.

8 keep diping until the desire color is made.

9 about 5 seconds after it get out of the water it will haze.

10 let it dry for like 2 hours in the sun . use a cloth and wipe of the haze for a glossing colored part(s)

thanks for the info. i want to try, just a bit afraid. does the dye do anything to the pot though? or does it just wash off?
