this time I think I might actually get a pump
So I've saved up and starved my defiant's upgrade-hugry insides for a while now. And with all that money I've decided to go pump, not stock class though. I'm buying a used cocker and putting a pump kit on it ASAP. I've been looking forward to this day for so long. I'm getting a '99 Rf slider cocker, I got some questions though:
1.Will the pump cocker work with Co2?
2. How do I install the pump kit?
3. Where can I get cheap pump kits? PM me the site if the mods wouldn't like it.

1. yes it will work with co2. most people use co2 on their sniper's i think, but like always, nitro is still better for it.
2.i don't excactly know, but there will probably be direction when you get it.
3.wwa and paintballgateway both have pump kits. liek evryone says though, if you really want a great smooth pump stroke get the ccm pump kit. that costs about $70 though where as the other one is about $25-30

haha sorry I didnt buy your maverick its all good though. Thanks for the help I'm kindof a pump nub. I'm not about to dish out 70 bucks to put a pump kit on my gun, I'm thinking more around 15-25. I was wondering about the Co2 cus a 68/3000 is kinda bulky on a small pump.

np, i ended up getting mroe than i expected on ebay anyways. but yeah, $70 is a bit for just a pmup kit. also having a big tank on a pump kinda takes away form the whole "fast and agile" part of playing pump. i can't even imagine having somehting as big as a 9 oz on my phantom, i just love my tiny and light 12 grams.

They're good or so I've heard. Snipers are more upgradeable but you can't play stock class. I chose sniper because I have a barrel kit and I want it to work on both. Also because I want a gun that I can upgrade alot and convert to a semi whenever I need it.

To put on the pump arm kit I think it is a matter of carefully take off the frontblock on the semi, and putting on the pump arm. Be carefull however, The front block has to be tightened to a certain extent or else you will have problems with the o-ring on your banjo bolt.
Spyderpimper- They are very good guns. When I shot mine for the first time I was AMAZED how good it was.

You remember where that came from too.
Pump cockers are nice. I like the CCM kit over the other kits available. The CCM feels so much smoother than the other ones. While it is more expensive, it's a worthwhile upgrade if you plan to play a lot of pump.

add 30 bucks and the pump arm will cost just as much as the gun. And yea, you and forumrider, its being passed down I guess. I might sell it and buy me a matchstik.
Mike- can you elaborate on how to install the pump kit and on this "banjo" bolt somewhere on the front block. Also whats the diff between 99 bodies and 2000?
