Ok, I have a Kingman Hammer, circa 1992(i think). I have a couple little annoyances with it. 1. The velocity is VERY low. I think that it is about 200. I do not know how to change it. 2. Does anyone know where I can pick up an adapter so that I can use regular size c02 tanks, because all it can take now are the 12 grams.
-There are two ways to chance Velocity. A) You have one of those tuning bolt inside. You can see it if you screw of the barrel. If yes you can take a screwdriver and screw it till you have the velocity you want(about +/- 60)
If not you just see a hole in the bolt.B) Than you have to buy a Tuning Spring that you change with the spring inside. Take of the Grip frame, with the two Screws ,one behind and one in front of the Gripframe. than take the internals out.(Remember how it was to get it in right again) Change the Spring now , get all in , Gripframe on ,ready. 300FPS.
-You dont need an Adapter for it, The Quikchange(where the 12 grams are in) has a thread that is screwed in the ASA Adapter(thats how its called) thake it out and the thread you find will fit CO2 tanks. Danger! If you have a Hammer P (plastic) beware of threating the plastic around the Back Gripframe Screw to hard. That happens if the Co2 tank or the Quikchange is screwed in or out to hard. It breaks and then you have a real Problem. Carefully !
