Ok, I've got an old Nel-spot 007 pump pistol I want to restore. This gun was my dad's, it was my first exposure to paintball, the first marker I ever shot, and I feel it needs to be brought back to full force. It has some body rust, but 85% of the finish is still intact. The barrel is in a bit of a problem though, as some old school paint residue sat in there for about 7 years, so it caused alot of oxidation. Also, the mainspring is pretty corroded as well, so I'd like to see about replacing it, if anyone knows where to find one. Otherwise, any general tips would be helpfull.

For the barrel, rustoleum, and WD-40 and even coke can get rust off.

Mainsprings are easy enough to replace. Just go to home depot and ask around. You can usually find one and cut it down.

My mom got an antique bird bath and it was all rusted... Just use rustoleum..

If it doesn't move and its supposed to; WD-40
If it moves and its not supposed to; Duct Tape

yeah. Duct Tape or JB Weld. both are a mans best friend.

try to clean out the barrel with a strong household cleaner or something, nothing too strong though, you wouldn't want to mess it up anymore than it already is. if that doesn't work, you get barrells pretyt cheap if you're not looking for something nice
