*NOTE: this is a woodsball gun to all arena players* I custom painted the Urban Mirage-Flange digital cammo and modified my Tippmann Alpha Black Tacticle w/ E-trigger: low-pro hopper/cyclone feed system, weaver rail & red dot sight. The Red dot sight is actually very acurate I was surprised. Anyone that wants any of these mods (including the paint stencils) let me know and I'll hand over the websites for ordering. I was wondering what pros/cons people have about tippmanns because I've heard mixed reviews so please feel free to post comments. Happy Hunting.

Honestly I don't like the way it looks. To me it looks like there's too much white on it. But I give you props for doing it yourself. And may I ask why you went with a cyclone? You could have picked up a MUCH better hopper for cheaper.....
well I went with the cyclone because i liked the low-profile look like on the x7, plus the hopper is offset so I can still see down the scope. Yeah i admit there is more white than I would like but it was the first time I painted anything, guess I could go over it once more but the prep & painting was work and I had to reclean/polish the internals with my dremmel.
Well I dunno if it's the same reason why I think it ruins it, but I think it kills the gun because you have a blender for a hopper(and its ugly IMO) and you have a useless sight.
really? a blender? Well I haven't had problems with it to date, the only time there was paint in it was when I had it in 15bps mode and one of the balls chopped in the barrel. Even then though it was just a little spash back from the barrel area, cleaned it pritty easily with a couple cue tips. The sight isn't purly cosmetic though, its more for fun like a milsim but its acurate.
you had it in 15bps mode, or were shooting at 15bps? I don't know the exact bps, but at higher ROF the cyclone will turn into a blender. I'm sure someone else on here could tell you about around that will happen. Versus another better hopper that won't have that problem. And I can understand that whole milsim look for markers, cause scenario games are fun, but I'm gonna have to disagree that any sight will be acurate. As in your able to aim at something with it and consistently hit where it is aimed.
it was in the 15bps mode for the alpha black e-trigger, can't say 4sure how many balls per second but it seemed like an ish load. This is the first e-trigger marker i've ever had so... yeah.
I agree with the comments about the white paint, but then, it's not my marker. I've used cyclones on A5s X7s, and I plan to put one on my Bravo1 (Canadian ABT, no Army decal), and I think they are brilliant! If it does start doing the hopper chopper thing (never had it happen myself), there is always the Squishy Paddle mod. Those Holographic sights DO NOT like paint though, and I hear replacement lenses are hard to get.

Cyclones have problems with breaking paint(I didn't feel like siphoning through all the posts above because there were many). I have heard nothing but outstanding remarks from the techT squishy paddles for killing the blending effect. I give it looks wise a 7 because of too much white, which was already stated. I'd slap a better barrel on it and get those squishy paddles. A red dot site is pointless, if it was a scope I could understand using it for spotting at ranges and not firing. Get a scope with the barrel or remove the red dot and it'll be an 8 for performance.
