PWF- that comment about letting a thread die was not for this thread, it was for all the others that you had posted on that nobody had touched in months.

on another note, you sound like your new to paintball, or at least dont have much experience, if you want your a-5 to weigh in at 5.5lbs dry, then go for it, but i can promise you it will not preform any better because of it. you will also notice that the majority of paintball players are not coming from the army. I think you have seen too many videos of army guys lugging around these firearms all day, yes they make it look easy, but how many paintball players are going through the same training as them? for your own good, stop comparing firearms to paintball markers, beyond looks and a trigger they have NOTHING in common. its common sence that weight slows you down, therefor a lighter marker=higher preformance

milsim is enjoyed by some, not all, for those of us who dont care about preformance, its the way to go. just recently have there been a few milsim markers released that have preformance in mind but their pricetags are such that only a few exceptional players will buy them. milsim is all about looks, which draws a lot of new players too it at first, but once they learn they can have much more preformance most turn away from it

i think pretty much everything else i wanted to say has already been said.

Dont use red dot sites...for one you can be spotted easily when somebody is looking straight at you. 2 the bipod is useless. If you cant hold the a5 marker on prone or in any other position i think you should go work out. 8/10 for looks tho.

one speck of red is not going to give you away, i played woodsball for years with a bright red impulse, never had anyone find me because of the marker

really? is that what happens when someone is looking straight at you? pretty sure they will see you moving before they will spot the miniscule red dot, assuming that youre pointing it directly at the person.
