NCStar Reddot site, RT, 21 inch fluted barrel *UPDATE* please look further down the page to see what i ment in previous threads about the barrel detaching to 6 inch
forum 7.5/10 i like the texture, its pretty unique
function 2/10 sights are useless and a 21" barrel is almost twice as long as you need. RT is a + though

Red dot is, i got it for 20 dollars at a gun show with a lifetime warranty (what the hell. The 21inch is what i thought to after it was gave to me as a present, but i think its really worth while, its fluted and has no spin since its not really needed for a long barrel. It shoots almost just as far a flatline, falls short about 5-9 ft
sights are for look and looks alone, paintballs are not bullets, they are a sphere tumbeling through the air, hence, not accurate. longer barrels do not give you a longer shot, the speed the ball comes out at dictates how far it will go (flatlines make the ball go further but it wont break at the added distances because it is going to slow.) the sight does look good ill give you that, i really like that everything matches, its a very nice touch, how did you do that? netting and spray paint?

My friend uses his wifes scrapbooking cut outs for the digi stlye, he uses duracoat. I use compressed air, more accurate then co2 and more consestant shots, i have my air cranked up for longer shots.
hope your not shooting over 300, stuff gets dangerous then

holy cow that's a freakin long barrel...i give you a 8.5/10 on the design, though. 6/10 on marker as a whole

Like it was previously said, sights are pointless, and so is a 21 inch barrel. IMO the long and short barrel you have both look weird on the marker. I think a 12-14" painted the same style would look better. (Not to mention would be better overall)
You should never shoot over 300 fps. You should stay between 280-290 fps to be safe. And I hope your not playing at a field and "turning you air up", because I don't know about fields around you, but around here you'll get kicked out for doing that.
Accuracy is all about paint-bore match and good paint.
You didn't post upgrades, so I'm going to assume it's a stock A-5 with a long barrel. That's why I gave you a 1/10 for performance.

You all play the same old song, performance is a 9 out of 10 i think. 21 inch is not overdoing it, neither my fps, longer barrel decreases the fps. Once again i will tell every to research Tru-Flight Barrels. They will replace anything.
Putting a longer barrel on your marker can decrease the FPS a bit from what it was with the shorter barrel. You are supposed to adjust the FPS after all changes so if you add a longer barrel you remeasure your FPS. You don't just assume that if you were at 310fps with a short barrel you are now safely shooting under 300fps with a long barrel.
The low ratings are a reflection that you are posting a stock common marker with a paint job and a common barrel. There aren't enough performance changes to give it a higher rating since it functions identically to stock marker which it is. Tru flight barrels have been around a longtime and if they measured up to their manufacturer's hype everybody would own one of these barrels but since they don't I can't even remember the last time I saw anybody with one.

No chance. Heavy inefficient marker that's big and unwieldy and kicks. And has a big ole hopper setting on the side just waiting for someone to light it up if you come out the right side of a bunker since they'll see that long before they see your mask. No, Tippmanns are deserving of their 1/10 for performance. If you're happy with it then that's good, but don't ever think Tippmanns are anything other than the lowest performance markers currently manufactured by a major company. The only semi-automatic markers worse than Tippmanns are the type that are Wal-Mart $20-$50 specials. And even that is debatable, since they'll perform just as well if not better than a Tippmann when they actually work. Just getting them to work for more than a couple months will be a challenge.
