Trbo323's DM6 & Autococker superstock

so finally i decided to put these up here since i lost my job and it will be a while before i put any more mods on them

first up is my main setup, Dye Dm6
Hyper 3!
cp flow plug
top hat mod
32 degrees flame frop
CP micro on/off
14" DW fibur with full freak
Dye Rotor
centerflag 68/4500 with on/off colar
dye rihno

(i think thats everything)

next up is the autococker superstock, mainly a backup, i have dumped about $350 into it since i bought it a few months ago for $200

ups-
E2 version 1.10
MQ2!
Hyper 2 (came off the dm6)
Cp razor drop
Cp micro on/off (if you havnt noticed i really like these things)
CCM feedneck
CP detent
samuri e2 trigger
custom laser engraved grips

also setup with the rotor and DW fibur for the pics

and here is both setups if i need them, i have another 68/45, a empire (not a halo) and the UL barrel that came with the 6

Im looking for split ratings on both (looks/apperance) thanks!

8/10 for the DM. Its got good ups. The barrel is a huge plus. The dropforward kills it for a high rating.
The cocker.... 6.5/10. Not a cocker fan or drop fan.

i probably should have said it at the beginning instead of the end but i was looking for split ratings (preformance/appearence)

and i realized the drops would cause some score drops but i dont care, i like them and they work for me (espeshally with that centerflag tank with the long reg)

8/10 for the DM6. It matches my DM5. Performance 9/10, I've never been a fan of the top hat mod, found for me it doesn't seem to shoot as nicely.

8/10 for the Cocker. I don't like those grips. Other than that, SEXY. 10/10 performance. E2 + mq2 = mad sex!!

Nice. Been wanting to see that cocker for a while.

dunno about the dm6, i suppose an 8 or a 9 or something. But 8 for the cocker on looks, because i think there's much work that can be be done to that cocker still, but performance wise it gets a 10 from me too.

Question, though, does the cocker still need the cocking pin even though it has the mq installed?

I hate rating just on looks, like I hate rating just on apperence. I like to use a very vague and weird ratio of the 2 to rate.

No, no longer needs cocking rod. However it still keeps the backblock from twisting, so many people continue to use it for that reason. If you remove it, you have to make sure to locktite your backblock onto your pump arm, pump arm to ram and that it's set up PERFECLTLY so it doesn't twist or you risk snapping your pump arm.

Uh. I'm not gunna lie. I really don't like the look of most DM's or PM's so only a 7/10. 10/10 with the drop! Autococker gets and 8/10 cause those grips are the secks. Also, random question, What the heck does agg mean?

hmm, this never occured to me, red locktight or blue?

i know theres a lot of work that can still be done, i am planning on eventually mid-blocking it but seeing as i lost my job, it is probably going to be a while so i figured id put them up here now and i knew some people wanted to see the cocker

any other suggestions of what to do to them? (no im not getting rid of the drops)

Blue loctite, always blue. A buddy of mine is pissed at me because in a discussion on how to fasten his braided line to his reg he was uneasy about just screwing it in tightly so I told him to put a drop of loctite on his threads, and he used red on the line to reg joint and now he can't get it off lol. I only said loctite, didn't specify, but he wanted to be macho and went for red.

Seconded. There is no reason to EVER use red locktite on a paintball marker for ANY reason. You are not building a high revving turbocharged V-6...just a moderately low pressure pneumatic device. Blue is the only one that should be used.

1.1 is the default. 1.2 can be found, but the only difference is they changed the name of the ramping modes. Other than that, 1.1 and 1.2 are identical.

How do you like the cocker with MQ? I've got a guy offering me one in a trade but I don't really know anything about them does it still shoot like a cocker or more like a typical electro?

I'm biased, but my MQ'd cocker is my favorite marker to shoot.

You have a big enough collection that your recommendation is good enough for me. I was looking for a project marker and after checking out some Youtube videos the MQ2 looks pretty damn sweet I think I'm going to pick it up.

This concludes the thread jack.

it actually shoots pretty close to the 6 but with more kick (back block) if your looking for a project marker id say a cocker is the way to go, i have this thing ripping pretty fast now, there is lots to tinker with and iv found that any factory timing does not work. and while i still prefer the 6 for how smooth it shoots i take the superstock out everytime im playing so it can get some field time, it turns some heads when i really get on it on the field and people take notice in the staging area (the grips help with that)

since i got the trigger on this i have really liked the way it feels, much more compact and the trigger doesnt feel as slopy as the stock one did
