ok but you cant say their LP obsession is logical, or the non-BOB ion, theres an argument for the luxe however i dont think a speaker and some programing time is worth an extra $300 in todays market.

ya they are trying to get away from sp but the truth is, sp made the "company" that created the luxe and it does stuff like uses sp threads on the barrel
as for the sl94- holy crap! i hadnt really looked up the price before, i didnt think it was going to be that high though, what do they have on it that they think is worth 1800? some new bolt design? whopptie freaking doo! unless the bolt is solid gold its not worth 1800

I never said that the lp obsession was logical ..lol I guess they have their reason. I was just saying that the electronics are limited due to the philosophy that there is no need whatsoever to shoot over 20bps. I was told that from the horses mouth. For them its a safety issue. All i know is I enjoy my Shocker to no end. Oh and Trbo I completely agree with your thoughts in regards to taking the bob feature out. Why not swap it with an EOS rear assembly which retains the bob and the chamber spacers.

I thought the same thing until I got to shoot one. It was easily the nicest marker i have ever shot hands down. I have shot dm's ego's cockers you name it and i have probably shot it... the luxe ( for my style of shooting) was the smoothest.
I was never impressed with the Luxe. I have multiple markers that shoot as smooth or smoother. DM5, PM7, PM8, Quest, Magno'd A1, A1 Fly, MQ'd Autococker...
And for my style, I find it's EXTREMELY uncomfortable of a frame. Far too long.
Also, I played with one for a little while. And after 3 times turning it on, I was ready to grab a sledgehammer and beat it until it SHUT THE F*** UP!!!!! I could never own one for that reason alone. It's annoying to constantly listen to that stupid POS. Give me my A1 OLED any day over that annoying thing.
Don't get me wrong I like the look of his marker.. But when i was at SP for training they flat out told me that none of their boards.. stock or blackheart will go over 20 bps. It also shows it on my price spreadsheet for SP that it is capped at 20.
Bull. My stock board got up to 22bps. No ramping and eyes where on. It just depends on your set up and what you got under the hood (well, in the gun).

For rebound mode it caps at 17bps, but in semi it's not capped. You can easily rig a gun up to shoot 25-30bps on semi. Obviously, you can't do it by hand.

straight out of the manual, the chart they have in there comfirms this, everything caps out at 17 even if you have dwell and ROF delay settings that should enable CPS above 17. they never mention modes in relation to how fast the marker fires (with exception of 3 shot burst and full auto being capped at 10)
