well, since companys are getting smarter, by adding nice on/off asas that dont need to be replaced, you dont really need to replace a dye stock board when it can shoot just as fast as a virtue board...i rate ppl on the whole set up tank hopper etc

That's an odd back for a G-1. usually the backs were heavily milled to reduce weight. G-1 bolt was an aftermarket 2-piece bolt. I personally never used one, but you could get different backs depending on the length (pre2k, post2k, EVO/STO)but use the same front. Other than the fact that every back other than yours I've seen of them (only like 3 still) was heavily milled, they never particularly impressed me over stock as they were still all metal, and so were only slightly lighter due to the milling.
