I had that Lapco barrel with my T9.1 and I didn't see it shoot further but no word of a lie the First Strikes shot nearly laser straight. If the magazine feeding system wasn't so unreliable I'd have kept that T9.1.
My experience with the Tiberius system was that if you were using First Strikes and the mags and/or marker weren't perfectly clean it would chop everything you tried to put through it or the mags would refuse to snap into place. Both are critical problems on the field and more than once I had to skip a game or two while I cleaned bits of shell and paint out of my marker. It was a really fun marker to use (once I stripped all the rails and crap off of it) but I figured if I was just going to sub out the T9 for a Blazer or pump I may as well just use the Blazer or pump and give up the First Strikes.
i'm also right there with you on pulling off all the useless rails and junk. i'd go one step further and have it splash anodized bright colors, too, were i to use one.
