Paintball Sniper Rifle
I want to buy a sniper rifle. I am NOT talking about gimmickey, decked out assault rifles that aren't really snipers. I mean a mag-fed, scoped rifle, such as the Tiberius T9.1,. If someone could give a website link or tell me some names that would be great. I heard RAP4 is bad quality. Preferably $600-. Thanks!

If this is the case, than the T9 is probably going to be what you want
There aren't any real specific "sniper rifles" made for paintball

The only game in town is the Tiberius T9.1. They are mag fed and can use First Strike rounds right out of the box and if you aren't shooting First Strikes you don't have any "sniper" advantage over any other marker. I should also add that the other Tiberius markers work with First Strikes as well but the T9.1 is the cheapest option in a full size marker.

There HAS to be another. I heard of something called or made by Spec Ops?

Spec Ops makes kits that make paintball markers look cool
They don't add any range or accuracy
If you want to be a "sniper" than the first strike round will be a must

And the Tiberius markers are the only ones made specifically to be able to use with First Strike rounds.

The "sniper" marker made by Spec Ops was called the "Longbow" and it was just a Tac One made by Airgun Designs with a stock and shroud and a springfeed. The Tac One itself is a top notch mechanical marker but with a stock or without it isn't any more of a sniper marker than anything else.

Its the best fit for what you want. There are other mag fed markers out there but the ability to shoot First Strikes is what give the Tiberius stuff that extra edge.

really you can shoot the first strikes through anything but for most stuff you have to breach load them 1 at a time, the only advantage the tiberius has is that it can load them consecutively
put a first strike round in any marker on the field and given the same barrel anything on the field will have the same range and accuracy. if you are just looking for the range and accuracy then there are much cheaper options out there as long as you are ok with breach loading the rounds. if you want the look or to be able to consecutively load the first strike rounds then the tiberius markers are your only option
one thing you may want to consider though is if you are playing at a field a lot of fields are field paint only, and if thats the case theres no way anything you put on the marker will give you more range than anyone else and accuracy can only be helped to a degree

One of these days, a genius is going to design an actually legitimate, SELF TITLED sniper rifle. *___ ____ Sniper Rifle* Blah blah. Rap4 may have done this, but their reviews are AWFUL. But yeah I'm buying the Tiberius T9.1 and the Tippmann TPX pistol with Gravity loader, and remote line hookup. I just bought a ghillie suit also . I am going to be the most legit sniper alive hahaha

Once he learns to defy physics, yes. We all shoot at 300fps, there's no way of making a sniper. OR Maybe if you had an insane backspin barrel w/ first strike rounds with extremely extremely brittle paint that breaks upon the slightest contact and cuts through wind and all the elements and is able to cycle decently quickly while not breaking the brittle brittle paint your using.
Or learn how to defy physics.
We should work on this.

hammerhead actually claims their barrels spin the ball like a bullet AS WELL AS putting backspin on it.....

actually, since you mention it - there is a barrel specifically rifled for First Strike rounds... made by Lapco, I think?
It supposedly slightly increases range/accuracy by imparting spin on the First Strike rounds before they leave the barrel (normally their spin would be created by flying through the air). I could see that as a valid claim, but I have little experience with FS and none with the barrel in question.

Although backspin on a FS round would be bad. also probably result in you having a very messy barrel.

If I want to play, does it really matter within reason how much the paint costs?
