Paint Swelling

Ive got a weird question. The other day we where playing and it was really hot outside about 105F. And the guns well especially mine.. kept jamming we determined it was from the paint balls swelling because of the heat. We stored them in the shade but I have an idea to try next time... maybe keep the balls in the sack and maybe just sit them in a cooler with a little bit of ice? or will that be to cold and freeze them?.
Just wondering how you all delt with this heat.
Thanks!
Megan

Sitting them in a cooler is a good idea.

Ice probably wouldn't be the best solution though. Just try putting them in shade and in the cooler.

Its not the heat that makes them swell, its more the humidity. Keeping them in something air tight would do it
