First Timer gets lucky, Or maybe is the sports new God.
My buddy had never even seen a paintball field, and I had never really played Speedball, although I have seen it played, and had the rules explain to me by a field owner. We went to the local field, and we were broke so we figured we'd watch and I could kinda explain it to him before we played the following weekend so we were watching were approached by two players my friend had known him from a class. So they were talking and we told him we were planning on playing next weekend and told him that my buddy had never played. Well he had us fill out the paperwork so no one got sued if we were hurt, and the guy gave his marker and mask to my buddy and told him to play a round, it was 4 on five just a little speedball, and when they walked out on the field they all said which respective sides they were going to take and my buddy having not played, was told "Go Rambo right down the middle." My friend...He's crazy and leapt at the oppurnity to run guns blazing down thier throats. So the whistle blew and off he went. Now I was sitting in the stands watching and I saw him sprinting down the center of the course and when he approached his first barrier in MID FIELD I was sure he was going to dive behind it. Instead he hurdled it. I was like "Oh Sh**.." He crossed the center line and disappeared behind a bunker. I was 100% Positive he was done. I saw a barrel poke up over a bunker signalling someone was eliminated, being sure it was my bud, I watched. Suddenly a member of the opposing team walked out. I was shocked. Then to add to the surprise two more walked out. I nearly Sh** myself. I was flabbergasted. When they walked off I had to confirm it, I asked who got them and they were responded "That nut in the raccoon city police shirt (My buddy's a huge Resident Evil Fan.) To better the score he ran the entire length of the field twice without being hit. INSANITY!

Well I have one question. Has he ever been hit before? If he hasn't then that is the (IMO) reason as to why he has the courage to run into the blazing guns of the opposing team, just wait until he get hit on the mask on the jaw line and he ends up tasting some paint and then if he still has the same courage then I take my hat after him.
