Well we don't cover every hole, but i'll be honest, We like to have pretty solid bunkers becouse it sucks when your bunker falls down flat on the ground and everyone hears it. Its like a free day to see how many of the other team can hit you. Talk about bonus balling from 5 different people at the same time.

PVC pipe and fittings and then cover the holes with tarp. If you use 3/4 inch pipe the stuff is like 35cents for a 90 degree elbow and like 3$ for 10 feet of pipe. U just cut it and glue it to the fittings and use zip ties to put the tarp on. Make a frame for pyramids or cubes or whatever.

Anything that is safe to a human being and can be used as cover is a bunker.

I use water barrels. About 5' 3" tall and you can stack them! I use them for airsoft (when practicing speedball) and sometimes I use them for actually paintball. They are about 25 bucks each so they are a bit on the expensive side.

Cheap & Sweet
If you have a mini lumber mill, (a one man bandsaw) the waste cuts are cheap. The waste cuts are the four rounded slabs with bark on one side.
Here in central MN I picked up a 3000# bundle for $25.00 (twenty five dollars).
They're 8'-10' long and make great bunkers.

I usually use my old truck in the middle of the feild. Its tall so it kinda acts like an accual X but its a much solider bunker if you put a board under it to stop ankle shots.

We used some pallets, old tires, an old lawnmower, palets, plywood, we made stone walls, piles of brush, some old grave halloween lawn decorations.

Rail road ties if you can get them but.. disposal in the future might be a real problem. I Really like the idea of using old tires. A tire shop could save them for you.

what ever happened to the old school logs?
stack up some logs and maybe put some sheets over em.
Now thats how i play it!!!!
for a snake, just make a line of logs and make the punket like 3 logs high and cover it with some sheets. Its easy and everyone has logs at their house.

Ok heres a new Idea, Well maybe not new, but new for my group....
Anyway, We had a pretty nasty storm last week in wisconsin here and we were thinking about chaining the trees that feel down to the end of my old truck and dragging them to the spots where we want. I think it'll work, we'll see.

you could take an old mattress and place it between two trees.you could also use pillows and fill them with sand and you them as sandbag.
