idk about snakes, but you can always go to most local stores(particaruly hardware) and get pallets for free. a little bit of modding(move the wood on one side to the other to fill in holes) and it makes a pretty decent bunker
I use pallets and put sticks in side them but on are field we want to be able to hit people so we dont cover every hole
Well we don't cover every hole, but i'll be honest, We like to have pretty solid bunkers becouse it sucks when your bunker falls down flat on the ground and everyone hears it. Its like a free day to see how many of the other team can hit you. Talk about bonus balling from 5 different people at the same time.
PVC pipe and fittings and then cover the holes with tarp. If you use 3/4 inch pipe the stuff is like 35cents for a 90 degree elbow and like 3$ for 10 feet of pipe. U just cut it and glue it to the fittings and use zip ties to put the tarp on. Make a frame for pyramids or cubes or whatever.
Anything that is safe to a human being and can be used as cover is a bunker.

I use water barrels. About 5' 3" tall and you can stack them! I use them for airsoft (when practicing speedball) and sometimes I use them for actually paintball. They are about 25 bucks each so they are a bit on the expensive side.

lol and for kicks take like two brooms and make an X in the middle
I usually use my old truck in the middle of the feild. Its tall so it kinda acts like an accual X but its a much solider bunker if you put a board under it to stop ankle shots.
u could always use dirt?? lol or dig a hole...hard work but it would work...o and for a snake...if u have a fireplace u usually have lotsa cut wood just stack that or if ur like my friend hi dad owns a trucking company and hes got like hundreads of old tires and oil cans (the oil cans he has are like 2 feet high they are huge lol) or i dunno but if ppl have old matreses us em
Rail road ties if you can get them but.. disposal in the future might be a real problem. I Really like the idea of using old tires. A tire shop could save them for you.
what ever happened to the old school logs?
stack up some logs and maybe put some sheets over em.
Now thats how i play it!!!!
for a snake, just make a line of logs and make the punket like 3 logs high and cover it with some sheets. Its easy and everyone has logs at their house.

Ok heres a new Idea, Well maybe not new, but new for my group....
Anyway, We had a pretty nasty storm last week in wisconsin here and we were thinking about chaining the trees that feel down to the end of my old truck and dragging them to the spots where we want. I think it'll work, we'll see.

lol, like my sheet metal ones and kenny. Sheet metal, FTW!
We have an old refrigorator we took on big trash day. Also have one of those lugage things you put on the roof of a minivan for long trips..its like a big clam haha. Um...plywood,an old stove and basically anything we see during BIG TRASH WEEK that we can ligt into the pickup truck!
