Plywood/OSB 4 feet x 8 feet, about 10 bucks and they'll last for good while. Get some 2x4 or 2x6 studs to go with them (about 2 bucks each and you can cut them into 3 or 4). Cut the Plywood in half length-wise and width-wise and you have four 2'x4' bunkers to duck behind or cut them to whatever size you like. This way would be a tad pricey but fairly durable IMO.

cool ideas
out back (500 yard from the house) we have a bunch of old cars. right next to them is a creek\swampy\ brush area. so I have a speedywoodsball feild
All you really need for back yard bunkers are a few logs. Build one log cabin style. Cost $0... We use stone walls and log bunkers.

That sounds like a TON of work, but if you've got the man power, I like it. One problem with it is that the Log house is not a moveable bunker, so for my feild, which is moving, that wouldn't work.
Lol, go rent a fog machine and put it into the middle of the field (cover it best you can from paint, of course). Keep all bunkers like 10-15 feet away from the fog machine and start it up, and watch people run through it for the holy crap factor. Maybe make a big add-on button for it to, like one that could be shot with a paintball from a ways away and you could start it up from a distance LOL oh the possibilities.
