So I didnt see a thread like this. When your ballin, what position do you play? Do you play back and lay down some cover? Do you play up or where do you play? Also, what are some of your favorite tactics to succeed on your position.

Personally im a stealthy player. I do a lot of woods Ballin, so I sneak around the outskirts of the area and stay low. I dont shoot much because it gives away my position. I stay low and more slow, picking them off one by one.

I love gettin in peoples faces, i love playing "loud" woodsball and throwing all the newer people off gaurd casue they think the game is "lets sneal around and see what happens"

when i play woodsball its like evolkers said its louder than what new people think but it also seems like that way in my woods cause it gets really quiet until we find eachother. then all hell breaks loose. its loads of fun, especailly when your friends run into trees lol

i personally go up the front if our team is attacking....while my stealthy guy sneaks up on them. when he starts firing obviously i move up and we get them in the crossfire. idk how you run your woods ball but if we are doing it like that it works for me

Yea, It's really fun when volkers plays like that. Right after his loud yelling the older guys "disappear" from him and end up lighting him up in the back. It's alot of fun.

I love playing a mental game in the woods. Usually concealing a couple of players and then using a couple more as bait in an open area.

^ i agree with what kaz said...although the fast and loud parts are fun the same can be said about the quiet mentally straining games lol all of asudden BAM!! someone shoots you in the back of the head

i do both woodsball and speedball, personally i like to play woodsball more cuz u dont waste as much paint, which means more playin time! i do a ton of stuff like flanking the heck out of everyone and what everyone was sayin before to play a mind game with everyone.

im also looking for people to sell me the new tournament paintball game for PS2 for 20 bucks.

Speedball, I play wherever I'm needed, most of the time mid/back because of my height (6'5") I can't really squeeze into small spaces like short front players can. But I do enjoy some front playing every once in a while.

Woodsball, I'm the goofball who runs around, gets shot the most and shoots the most paint and shoots the most person. Sings songs, wants people to know I'm there. Camoflauge? Psh, I wear more camo in speedball than in woodsball.

lol i wear the same camo in speedball than i do in woodsball, and personally i dont like to be in front, im more of an observer and barks out comands and i see the whole field.

Woodsball: front. I really like the guys that sneak, but really aren't that good at sneaking. I kinda zig zag though. I hit the far right corner, then cut across the center (taking out many un suspecting victims out along the way) to the far left, then up to the flag.

Speedball: front/mid. I used to really like the front, but now Im realizing I'm really more effective in the mid position. Especially mid center.

Camo is overrated. If you can see me, I can see you, and its already too late.

Speedball- I play front/mid, I suck at playing back. Generally i will hit the 20 off the break shoot for a while then bump to the better bunker. Can't really make a crazy run during three man, most of the time.

Woodsball - I havn't played woods in a very very long time. Generally when i do i always get attacked by spiders or red bugs. My friend got attacked by wasps once while playing woods a long time ago.

In Speedball in the front man, and in woodsball i play point, i'm a pretty agressive player and try to intimidate the new guys so they run away, or take cover

Hardy har har, i dont fall for those tricks anymore. Remember the last 2 man when i shouted to you what trick you were doing than your dad came back and was like "Oh, hopper hits count?" Rip off...

You mean the 1 other time, we only did it twice and the other time neither me nor johny had the right guns. Johnys A5 broke down cause he is an idiot and he was using the surge and we were doing renegade and my ion ran out of air, so i was using that crappy piranha.

I play a little of every position. Considering I do not trust the majority of people I used to play with, I would stay back some to give them direction and get them into their correct positions. After that, then I would move up front and do my thing.

Other times, screw the team, I just go all out and own, lol. It varies depending on the circumstances.

in woodsball i usually walk around just looking for people with my friend, dont know how we never get shot doing that lol. In speedball i play back/mid. I prefer speedball but every once in a while i like to go back to woodsball.

i like being up front and advancing on the other team, or crawling up a trench on the side and getting right in there face either way up close and in action

i have 2 friends that are 6'10" or so and im fairly big, and the 3 of us lay down some pretty powerfull back player fire, we all have RTs in t98s and one has a flatline, so we lay down alot of paint, and that suits us at our feild, now if it was more woodsball than what im used to, im sure id be sneaking through the bush and suprising some people, which i do alot in airsoft

In the mornings I tend hang back and help the newer players with their gear and game. So they can get some confidence and they are willing to take a risk in the games. But later in the day I tend to play front or middle mostly because I am more aware of how my gear is handling and how the other team plays the fields.
