That sounds pretty cool. What works really good for back positions is to doors hinged together and stood up in a ^ shape. Awsome for tall people like me lol.

There is a beginning to everything. Perhaps this will lead to a new field in the future, or a field mamnager at a favorite local field.
Get those pics dude.
Hey, on that hinged door idea; what about hinging smaller pieces of wood.... to make a /\/\/\/\ kinda thing, but shorter than doors?

Well, Combats great, the reason why im saying it couldnt really start a field is $$$. You need CO2, and air compressor, paint, insurance, etc. It costs a lot and your a tad bit young to try and run a field.
Hell though, if your playing give me a pm and i might bring a friend and check it out, that is if i can get off work.

Have a blast and jstu try to make sure their aren't any sharp ends sticking out of places. When I was younger, I would have loved extra land to do something like this. Enjoy it!

I also thinking about starting a woodsball field at my house. I have 5 acres with underbrush and 10 with just pine needles and some ditches. We will be putting bunkers up and possibly a few towers. This will mainly be for friends to play and hopefully we will have a team going soon. Do you have to have insurance to play another team on private property or can you just have them sign liability release forms?

^^ Not sure.
I don't have a large amount of property but I do have a forest in my backyard. Which comes in handy for woodsball. Getting together with a couple friends and we found an old BMX track. Has tons of jumps (Alike to bunkers) and stuff to hide with. It was great and we're hoping to get our first game out there soon.

It's good that you feel that way; you're not putting people down for what they believe in. The fact of the matter is that even if he wanted to turn that into a legal field, under no circumstances would it work. A junk yard (unless abandoned) is not a place for a legal paintball field. There is old, rusty metal, heavy machinery, and sometimes dogs. It would be way too dangerous to have a legal field there, and therefore, would never pass the inspection to get a field license.

yes as long as were on that topic, safety is a very important thing to keep in mind. if you are even thinking of starting your own field, you can not leave any glass, cut metal, or any other sharp objects in a junkyard if you want to play there. my cousin cut his knee open the second game we played on our new field and we picked up every single peice of glass, taped up all the metal, stripped all the nails, and sprayed all the god dang smartweed that was there. even if you do not intend to make a public feild, please do yourself a favor and clean it, even look it over a second time. and yes, dogs are a big deal too, we had a rabid dog of our niebors kill 2 sheep and it even snarled at me, and when your alone in a junkyard in the woods that is NOT a good feeling. sorry i didnt get those pics, ill get them in the spring.

Exactly. Nothing is more important than safety.
