oh and sorry for my old posts on this thread cause i was not very "intelegent as guns go" when i made those. But if you havent boght a gun yet is the autococker trilogiy tactical with select fire a good option never seen one but they are relitively cheap?

I really don't see why everyone gives the Ion so much credit. The VS2 is a great gun and very simple to maintain. VS2 can be had for around $150 compared to $200-250 for an Ion. If you want to recommend a good gun compared to the the VS2 look at an Ego or Mini. In the Ion price range you could also get a Mokal Aura for $250. Then you would have a gun with a super low operating PSI at 150. If you can't tell I am just getting sick of every Ion owner who has been playing for 2 years or less trying to tell everyone how the Ion is so great. Blow backs are perfect starter guns and some of us have been very happy with ours for 10-15 years.

QFT, tippmanns pale in comparison for durability and these are higher end markers. You really can't go wrong with a mag.

Haha i know this thread is dated to 2007 and its April now but whatever. I believe, in my opinion you should get the smart parts SP-1 or the vibe. They are electropneumatic (Only one moving part in the gun) so they are easy to disassemble, they CAN be submerged in water and yet the have an electric trigger frame. They have 3 modes of fire, semi, 3 round and full which is a plus in scenario, they have extremely low operating pressures, and they are set up to run on CO2 or HPA. and at only $135.99 to $149.99 at Paintball, Skateboard, Airsoft, Apparel and Snowboard Gear at ActionVillage.com they are easily the best option.
