Idea's for Rec Ball games.
Give suggestions and a NAME to a rec ball game you've played. Try to follow my format.
The Sheild Game:
Build a sheild made out of light plywood (make sure it's light, but strong enough to with stand a large amount of paint, though it is hilarious if it can't). Before the game starts, one person is names the sheild guy. This person is sent out into the playing area with a 5 min head start. They can lose the sheild, set it up for a distraction, keep the sheild or what ever. When the 5 min is up, the rest of the group goes in after him. An important rule is that the Sheild guy has 3 lives. So when he's shot the first 2 times, he simply plays on.
This game is best with a ratio of 1 vs 6 to 8 players, 1 being the sheild guy.
Bunny Hunt:
Basically the same thing as Sheild game, except for without the sheild and extra lives. The bunny is named ahead of time and gets a 5 min start. He really dosn't stand a chance, but it's fun for initiations and so on. You can also make a bunny team that is horribly out numbered but at least then he has freinds.
This game is best with a ratio of 1 vs 4 to 6 players, 1 being the bunny.

Cops Vs. Robbers
Three players sit in a bunker with their guns sitting beside them, just chatting away. These are cops. Three other players come in shooting. These are robbers. Unliminted amount of lives, the robbers just have to get the 'cash', a flag behind the cops.
Best with 6 players, 3 vs. 3.

idiot hunters (a personal favorite i must add)
1 guy goes out no gun nothing being a "deer" then all players try and shoot him who ever hits him win the only thing is the "hunters" can eliminate each other its quite fun with a large area or woods feild please give this a try you will like it. teams work but free for all is sometimes better.

One person on each team is the Most Valuable Player and if that person is shot, that team loses. Simple game. That's why I like it.

Two teams. One shot to the head, you're out, two shots to the body, you're out. Nice and simple, as well.
SWAT
Two teams. Go until the other team gives up. No shot limit.

OUCH MUCH, knowing the group I play with, a number of us wouldn't quit regardless of how many shoots we took.
Heres another game:
Protect the President:
2 teams start on oppesite ends of where your playing. Team one is the President and his body guards the other team is the attack team. The attack team knows who the president is and the president usually has a mechanically disadvantaged marker. Like a pump or pistol, or sling shot maybe just a gernade. The goal is for the President to get from one end of the feild to the other (usaually to or past the point where the attack team starts). If the President makes it without being shot, his team wins. If the President is shot, he dies and the attacking team wins. If the body guards get shot it really dosn't matter except for the fact that they're out and the president is less protected. Also if the attack team is shot they are out.
Ratio of 3 vs 7, 3 being the presidents team.

Minion is a fun game
It starts off every body versus the best player of who ever
That on player is the minion and if he shoots u go touch him and ur a minion if u shoot a minion the minion is out the game ends when every one is a minion or the minions are all out

slave and master
this one is great, make sure people can go reload air and paint when they need to though, it can be a bit long
we played it with 3 teams of 3 to start, each team has a captain and a 2nd in comand, and then theres just the one left over, the point of the game is to get everyone on your team by shooting them, once a player is hit they have to go touch thier new captain before they can resume play, once under that new captain they can then take orders from the new captain, if a captain is shot they become a slave and the second in comand takes over the rest of the remaining team, one last thing is to make sure dead men dont talk, basically nobody who gets shot can release information about thier previous team (cant tell the new captain where they are etc.)

Bomb. (1/2 full water bottle).
Each team gets a bomb and the objective is to throw (or place) the bomb into a structure near the enemy teams' spawn. OR one team gets the bomb, an "attack and defend" like game.
Good way to break up standard elimination. Just make sure you have a ref near the "bomb site" to call the game when it ends.

The one Ive been trying to get my field to play...
Gettysburg:
Two teams line up shoulder to shouler about 30 yards apart, and on the refs order take one shot at each other. Everyone thats still alive closes the gaps and take three steps in. repeat until no ones left on one team.

An old war style game. Best when everyone has a cheap pump gun. Better in a more open are than woods as you have less shots to be breaking on brush.
You aren't allowed to use a hopper. You have a couple of pockets full of balls and you can only load one at a time. It's pretty fun and you have to be a lot more accurate. Pumps are fun because you load and pump

Gone is 60 seconds
You start of just like a regular speedball game, but every 60 secs you have to move to a different bunker other wise your out, this rule stops once some gets the the halfway point. its a really fun game to play, its best for games with mostly new players because it teaches them to keep moving and not just sit behind one bunker the whole game.

just like a normal capture the flag game, but this time have each team with one team flag at there base, and then three other flags that they move and put on a base to capture it, first team to capture all the bases wins, and if you get shot you have to go back to a flag that your team owns to respawn

60 seconds is a long time. plus, I know peopel who can get to the middle of the field off the break. I can see it as a good training tool for new players who dont' move though.

Ya the place where i learned this game was like 75% rental players and it kept the game going, i play front so i was at the 50 usually before the first 60 secs if not the 2nd. After playing a game or two of this it really makes the whole day better because they get the confidence to move and not just stay behind one bunker and to move up, not just chill in the back and "snipe ppl"

Terminator:
One person is the Terminator and gets two nice guns with fast shot, while others can only use single pull guns. Terminator has to give up to be out.
Wounded Comerade:
Set up a dummy in the field, and one team has to go rescue the dummy, and the dummy cannot be hit.

These are mostly 1 vs. all, thats how I like to play.
Rambo:
One man versus 5+ other players. Other players guard a base (could be a flag, a hostage, anything) and Rambo uses a full auto marker (or ramping). (Optional) Rambo has to wear nothing but a tank-top.
Macgyver:
Take parts of gun (barrel, reciever, hopper, tank, paint) and hide them in different places, using someone who isn't playing that round. Macgyver has to find the pieces and assemble them, while avoiding opposing team, then find the opposing team members and take them out.
Arnold Schwarznegger:
One man has to carry at least 3 guns. Other team is in one base, Arnold has to take them all out using all 3+ guns.
Chuck Norris:
One man has to be Chuck Norris, and roundhouse kick all other players. Chuck Norris cannot carry a marker, but others can.
Homer Simpson:
One man is Homer Simpson, and others are guarding a can of Duff Beer (can be a can of Coca-Cola if under 21) and Homer has to eliminate others and get can of Coke and drink it.
Yes, I am running out of ideas.
Barney:
One man dresses in purple and runs around singing, "I love you, you love me, we're a happy family..." while others shoot at him. Barney cannot carry a gun.
Cookie Monster:
Hide a box of cookies, Cookie Monster has to find them. Cookie Monster can carry a marker, others also can carry. Other players have to shoot Cookie Monster, and eat the cookies in front of him when he has been taken out.
George Lopez:
One man is George Lopez, and has to run around screaming stuff in Spanish. George Lopez can carry a gun. Other players take him out.
Tupac Shakur vs. Biggie Smalls:
Tupac runs around acting ghetto. The person who plays as Tupac has to sag his pants and wear a bandana over his mask, and shoot his gun sideways. A player on the other team has to be Biggie Smalls and kill Tupac. 1 on 1.
Dick Cheney:
One man is Dick Cheney. Other people are turkeys. One man on other team has to be the old man. Cheney has to kill turkeys, but also shoot the old man.
Yes, I am almost out of ideas...
Okay one more.
North Hollywood Shootout:
2 men vs. 7+. the 2 men are bank robbers with full auto markers, 7+ others are cops. the 2 men have 20 lives each (can be hit 20 times and not go out), cops have 2 lives.

Sniper stealth
1-2 snipers with ghillie suits are placed 100 or so metres from a flag. The snipers have to get past/shoot 8-10 armed 'guards'. Guards have to be spread over a 30 metre area but cant be within 10 metres of flag (give snipers a better chance)

Center Flag with a twist
There are 2 teams. And there is a flag in the center. You win by bringing the flag to your home base. This makes fighting for the flag more hectic. Also if you are playing with a few player. you can make it so if somone is hit then they have to walk back to there base and can continue
Can defence
One team is the defenders. The other team attackers.
The defenders gard a soda can. The soda can is on a stump ( or somthing like that). The attacking team trys to attack thr base and shoot the can.The defenders can't put anything infron of the can expect themselves. If you are shot your out
