Hmm... suspiciously cheap remote coil...

Micro Remote Coil | Paintball Gear
I'm considering buying it, cause I'm real close to hitting my budget. Should be fine, right? As long as I dont let some dumbass borrow it and try to put air in it.

If I upgrade to air, I'll have to buy a better coil, but anyone got any gripes about these cheap looking ones for CO2?

You can use HPA with any remote coil HPA is actually less likely to cause a problem since it won't be spiking in pressure like CO2 sometimes will. That coil should be fine it looks kind of cheap but then again it is cheap so if it is the best you can afford than buy it.

As well, a tube with HPA running through it won't be subject to the extreme and rapid temperature changes that can be associated with CO2, increasing the life of the tube drastically.

Essentially, almost anything that can run on CO2 can run on HPA better. I say almost anything because I'm sure there's something that will prove that statement false (12g canisters don't count...) so I don't want to say something that isn't necessarily true.

Also- about your price gripe. Just remember the quote "You get what you payed for." Save up for a better coil, or buy one now that will break in a couple of months.
