I am quitting Speedball and moving on to woodsball. Speedball involves too much money and i cant afford it no more. But i am going to do woodsball because its still fun and exiting.

Anyway, i am going to sell my ion and going to buy a woodsball gun.

I am going to buy a Tippman A-5, i have looked at this gun and found out its exellent. Does anybody have any other suggestions of a woodsball gun besides a PMR?

Anything Tippmann is too expensive.

Blazer, Phantom, Automag or...just keep your Ion it will still work in the woods.

if your set on a tippy i recommend an alpha just because they are identical to and a5 inside and already come with a stock and shroud and a LOT cheaper.

Mabey you dont remember, my ION had sooooo many problems and im just donr with it. i dont wanna have a break down in the middle of nowhere.

there is little need to get a new gun. ions work very well in woodsball. and yes, dont fall into the tippmann trap. most are too expensive and just OK.

In that case an Automag would be perfect you can find a good used one for around $150. I love Blazers as well but they aren't very user serviceable.

Electro Spyder: $45-$50 used

oh and an SP1 is always good. cheap and reliable as can be. i'd imagine it'd be good for your transition from speedsball. also have good thoughts about an mr1. and if you want REALLY cheap a spyder sonixx pro. made to be abused and not bad at all.

I wouldn't worry about it breaking in the woods. It is a common misconception that woodsball going to destroy a speedball gun.

Well i was thinking of getting a A5 or alpha and get a hammerhead barrel.

why?, the gun you have right now is probably better than an upped A5, it would be almost taking a step back. Sure the gun would look good but you would sacrifice performance and weight.

i dont have an HPA tank. New ones are too expensive and used ones are ****ed up when i see them. I already have a few CO2 tanks and i can sell my ion if i decide to.

Well if your Ion is giving you problems stop running it on CO2...
If you think you want a mech marker go with a used Automag or Autococker both can be found for less than an A5 and will offer way better performance. When it comes to mechs age doesn't matter so a used highend mech is going to destroy the new low end stuff like Spyders and Tippmanns.

i dont run it on CO2 i rent a HPA tank from my local feild.
