Well, in the guy's defense this isn't a tattoo parlor or photo studio, this is a free, semi-public forum where crazier things have happened than a guy asking for ideas for a team name or logo. I've asked for team name ideas as well as asked for someone to make me a logo, and people did it, no questions asked. Just because it was a little while ago doesn't mean it should be any different for this person, regardless of their post count or proficiency at typing.
If he had been rude, I could understand your reaction, but as he simply said "No, I'll pass..." (basically) there is no reason to jump down his throat. What, now you are obligated to say yes to the first offer you get when you ask a question? Yes, he typed in caps, but still, he was not rude. That's not fair, then, for you to jump on him.

I've always liked the name "The Mongols" simply because while it isn't a particularly evoking word there is so much you can do with it. (Mongol Horde, Genghis Khan references, etc).
