why would you ever use a flashbang? They are used in stead of grenades when there are friendlies in an area. Like throughing them into a room full of hostages. They wouldn't do much outdoors in daylight. You might blind a person if he looks right at it.

Flashbangs can make peoples' ears bleed and they are military/police weapons. They aren't available to civilians for a reason. Smoke bombs should only be used in scenario games where they area allowed and the field owners are prepared to put out fires and treat people for smoke inhalation.

i was looking on the internet for smoke/flashbang grenades and i didn't find much. does anyone have any ideas af where i can find some cheap ones? I pretty much only play woodsball, so i was thinking i should prolly use cold burning smoke (millitary style)

smoke i the woods is useless, the wind blows it all away..plus its stupid. However, if you are using it for indoor scenario's..house, barn..etc. its very useful. Drop a smoke, then if they fire into it, toss a tippmann grenade, they dont see it, because of the smoke=kills. Also, m-80 use is stupid, someone will probably be hurt if landed on or really near them. However, if you wish to use exploding "grenades", firecrackers work very well. Just before a game, make rules....if your 5 ft. near it, your dead..etc. Flashbangs are just dumb, tactics and imagination as listed before and above is one thing, pissing someone off and then having no one to play with is another. Dont use flashbangs, bad idea. not too mention lawsuits quite possibly.

Whatever you intend to do, check with your field owners FIRST!! Many insurances prohibit the use of "pyrotechnic" devices (of which even cold smoke is considered) on the fields. Also, local ordinances may also limit or prohibit the use of these types of devices.
In any case, Flash/bang type grenades are regulated by the ATF and limited to police and military use only.
flashbangs? are you kidding? that could cause temporary blindness and really piss off people. dont even think about that.
smoke grenades are mostly useless as well. people tend to shoot at the smoke. so if your useing smoke to move, your gonna get lit up.
dude did u ever think about the other way of using smokes you toss one over every one looks at it and u go the OTHER way i mean havent anyof yall played Americas Army or counter strike its used so often that even noobs know to do that

ive been looking this topic up for a couple days and u can buy something that(seems to me) be a military cold ignition smoke grenade at For all of your tactical smoke grenade training needs!, they got fuse lit, pin pull ignition and electronic ignition(which you can supposedly make it remote control detonation), they also got a video that shows 1 going off.
