PIranhas are essentially spyders, just with slight differences in design.

tippmans are ok but a flatline barrel can be a really bad hassle if you dont know what your doing so stick to the stock until you get some knowledge because i know a freind yesterday that was trying to fix his flat line and it took 4 of us and we still didnt get it tight it may give u a better shot but stick to the stock

LOL! That was one long sentence! You couldn't get the adapter tightened? You must be a bunch of pansies! (just playin .)

The Flatline is a bit of a hassle, but it's not as bad as what some people may think. Couple drops of oil on the adapter will make it slip right in. The two main problems people have with their flatlines are:

1. Not having the adapter exactly vertical. (Causes balls to curve.)

2. Not having the barrel all the way in the adapter. (Causes loss of pressure in the shot, because air escapes through part of adapter.)

Bottom line is. Preference. Don't listen to just one side of the story. Ask around, because there are some people that flame anybody who says flatline, and there are others who swear by it. All it comes down to is preference, and how much tinkering you are willing to do.

Mike

Ok, The Tippmann is a good choice because of its durability and semi-accuracy but I think its to heavy, to long and is pain in the butt to field strip. I would reccomend getting whatever you feel comfortable with using.

That is one of the only cons about the Tippmann 98c. A5 is a lot easier, tho, but I doubt he wants to upgrade to another Tippmann

Tippman is definately the best woodsball marker on the market if you ask me. It's just what I'm saying though. Personally I don't like Tippman's. The TL-X is nice, but it's not amazing. It's too colorful if you ask me.

I would highly suggest a 2k4 BKO. I mainly play woodsball and it is easy to strip, accurate and light. Kinda pricey for a woodsballtype gun but def a good choice.

he is right but most ppl who prefer low end guns and cannot afford more upper-end guns go with the 98c for woods and a spyder for speed.

Go with the piranha for woods and the piranha for speedball.
