MY friends and I like to play in a dried up creek in sonoma lake park, California. This is a fedral controled park by the army corp of engineers. The other day one of the rangers informed us that title 16 usc says that the use of projectiles is prohibited. I've looked throught title 16usc and cant find anything of the sort.
I wanted to see if anyone else had to deal with this kind of opposition to woodball play. Or if anyone had any suggestions.

We'll one of the rangers said it was fine, there was no rule against it, as long as we clean our trash. Than a different day the other ranger quoted 16 us code. Since one of the rangers said one thing, and one the other, I wanted to get the cold hard facts. I was hoping someone would have dealt with this before.

ur best bet us to call up whoever is in charge and ask them, if you dont know who that is, try the police

its different regulations in different states, even counties. call the local government to find out for sure

We'll I spoke with the supervising ranger today. She said if I could prove to her that there are no provisions against it, we can play.

well i work for the NPS, we have a policy that says no projectile weapons, etc. but i'm sure it varies a lot
