I got this from APG magazine from awhile ago that my friend gave me a few weeks ago.

These are a few games that you can use that are alternates to Deathmatch and Capture the flag. Cuz after awhile it does get irritating right and boring right? Don't you want to mix it up some?

(1). Predator. Somebody is chose to be the predator and they get a five minute headstart from everybody else. After that somebody is sent in after him every three minutes to elminate the predator. Here is where it gets really cool, if your taken out by the predator you become a predator spawn. that means they can join up with teh original predator or they can find a spot of their own.

The goal of the guys attacking the predator is to try and take out the predator. Killing his spawns mean nothing but you have to kill the original predator to win.
Note- Eliminating Predator spawns does not mean you get to have them on your team. They're just out of the game.

(2). At the beginning of the game everybody is given a card with two words on it. Everybody spreads out as though its an "Every man for himself game." When playing you run around looking for your teammembers and then you go after enemies. but the catch is that you don't know who's on your team because you have to ask if they have the same card with the words on it as you do.

(3). Assassin is where a group of assassins go hunting after the guards of the president. I think many are already familiar with this but for the noobs and those who didn't. this is fun. Somebody plays as president and the guards guard the president. The assassins come after the president and try to elminate him. The guards though have to escort the president to a position and then they win the game if the president is unmarked. So that's the catch.

(4). (This one I made up myself) You split into teams of two and setup numerous flags everywhere around the field. (Preferably a large woodsball field) Then the teams all have to go after and get the most flags in a time of about 15 to twenty minutes. That being that they didn't wipe each other out. This is a really testing game that you have to be insync with your partner in. Fun though.

(5) Take two people and take their (Apart from masks) gear, guns and air and then put them in the middle of the woodsball field. Then put their gear in numerous area's and let them have a twenty second headstart to find their gear. If by that time they couldn't find it all and the attack team gets them. Boo hoo for them. haha.

player stories? BTW this isnt halo, its not called deathmatch, its just elimination.

because this doesn't belong in pb chat. Either player stories or recball. Some of those game types sound fun but not to realistic for field owners to do. Only if you're playing outlaw ball or something would they work.

Here are a few:

Last Man Standing- Just like elimination, except you have more than one respawn like. Let's say you get 5 respawns. You get hit, you have to go back from where you started and hit a specific marking or something like that. Then you're back in. You can do that 5x, 10x, 20x, or as many times as you want. Having someone to keep track (refs) assures that no one can cheat.

Siege- Get four cones, place them apart from each other so it makes a rectangular figure. One team has to try and keep the opposite team from taking over the base. You only get one life in this usually. So in other words, one team tries to hold down the base, while the other has to try and get into the base, either by eliminating the enemy completely, or by sneaking or dancing in.

Search & Rescue- You get an odd number of people (volunteers), (3, 5, 7, 9) to be hostages. You get place them in the middle of the field. There are two teams the object of the game is to have the most hostages in your base at the end of the game. You have people go out, and try to bring one hostage at a time (one per person) and get them to your base. If you are hit when trying to get a hostage then you have to go back to your base and touch it, and head back out. If a hostage is hit, no big deal, they stay in, the object of the game is not to kill the hostages, but rather bring them to your base. This is timed always, usually 10 to 30 minutes.

I have several others also, if anyone wants me to put up anymore, I will. Some of these seem a bit unrealistic, but they will work out, if you have people willing to do the not so fun parts every once in a while.

It's not called deathmatch in HALO, that's UT. HALO is slayer.

This is a one v. one game that I think I've heard about from this site. Get to chairs and put them 20-40 feet away. Each player gets one hopper. You shoot at each other till one person gives up.

lol ur an idiot.. deathmatch is just a broad term for any game.. it's not tied to halo in any way.. don't critisize people until you know what your talking about.. and btw the thread starter should have called it "TEAM" deathmatch.. deathmatch would just be a free for all.

Man I gotta go ballin. I'll try some of these good idea's and use them and see if they're fun. I'll give ratings for you guys. Trying to get this thread to be stickied. I'm still waiting for Tedrizz to give the ok and sticky.

i have a cool one, its called gettysburg, you dont use any hoppers or tubes, just load the paintballs in one by one from a bag or something. Its not really a game type, but oh well, its still fun.
