Does your local field make you out when your gun gets hit?

Mine doesn't.

Of course... It's stupid not to. If you're good, people barely see any part of yuor body EXCEPT your barrel/loader. And if gun hits don't eliminate you, it'll cause a lot of idiots to blind fire since they wont get out. Gun hits have always been eliminations in real paintball.

Think of it this way, your gun is an extension of you. It gets hit, you get hit. It also keeps the blindfiring 12 year olds from totally ruining the game.

my feild played that it doesnt count due to dommand of people. i forgot in a game, got hit in the hopper, stood up, realized i wasnt out, got lighten up

all the feilds usually count gun hits

gun hits should count everywhere. your hopper/gun is part of your equipment and i think everything that you carry on the feild(except emptied/thrown) pods should count as a hit and elimination

Be one with your gun. So when your gun gets hit, so do you. Plus in real combat, if your gun gets hit, you aren't dead but SOL since you dont really have a weapon.

If you get called out for a gun hit and your in a tourney, you suck.

Recball, gun hits count, practice gun hits count. Dur.

If pods on your back that get hit count, or a pod thats in your hand that gets hit counts...your gun should to.

my field makes em count only on the tournyballers.... for the rec players, they dont count em.

most of my feilds dont because they know that alot of players hate gun hits and i think thats awsome becasue i think you should be out if you get hit in the body not on your gun besides its makes the game longer becasue if you get hit in the gun u dont have to worry about it

Yeah. My field says that "your not dead" if you get hit in the gun.

Gun hits count? What kinda wuss are you? Your gun is not you. Last i checked if YOU were hit you were out, not your gun. pssh.. paintball these days.
