ok i play advanced play and today (sat.) there was a bunch of church groups there. and at my field we have a bunker tag rule for groups like that. well the trouble started when i went into a dirt mound field without my angel (diddent want dirt in the ram), and there is a long snake on the side. one of the kids from the church groups takes the snake and gets on my side of the field. so this kid willingly gave me his m98 to shoot out the guy. the only way that i could get him was to run over the top of the snake and shoot him out. well i did that and he was 10 feet away from where i jumped over( u can shoot people from at least 8 feet away at the field). the guy had no complaints for what i did and he said that it was cool what i did. well a ref GRABS me after the game and takes my pass away for the day causing me to have to sit out and watch my friends play for 4 hours.

(forgive me if i gave to much info.)

i would like some opnions on what should of been done or what should not have been done thanx

well you gotta understand you can get injured jumping over bunkers, and since you did it once, you probably would do it again, and i guess the Ref was just doing his job.. making sure you dont get hurt.. but i guess taking your pass away for the whole day was kinda harsh, a warning woulda been better..

I hate fields with rules like that. If I want to endanger my person by diving or jumping over a bunker than let me. I mean I did sign the waver so let me play a the way I want to play. the field I play at lets us do whatever the hell we want....It's run by a old pro guy who's cool as hell

yeah, their was this one ref, he said the regulator/expansion chamber was the drop forward, and he wouldn't let me talk to the other players because he though 'because i have my own gun they'll be scared to play' So i shot him and go kicked out

the only thing refs do at our field is paint checks and start games which is a plus and they dont ***** when they get hit.

That is why I "accidentaly" pull players and have them sit a game or two to learn some respect for the us poor refs. Sure, a good ref gets shot up quite a bit. I mean you can't paint check if you are not right in there with the player. But if I catch you deliberatly shooting me (I mean c'mon I am wearing a bright orange and black striped jersey) then I get uber pissed.

at my home field the only time i shoot reffs is when thery are playing... my field is cool the people who work there will go on break and play a few games... but thats doesnt really count

You also gotta realize that you could hurt someone else by jumping over a bunker. What if that kid had moved when you jumped, and you landed on him. He could be hurt and it may not be covered in their waiver.

I hate it when im shooting at someone and a ref runs through my paint to get somewhere. Cuz then im like "oh crap i just shot a ref". At my feild if you hit them they just glare at you if its accident, but if it was purposeful then they will pull you out. Refs are your freind, at least if you play fair like i do.

Yeah. I 'accidentily' shot a ref who yelled at me one time. I was truly 'sorry' for doing it. No I'm just joking. It was an accident though. He ran in the middle of the game for a paint check and I shot him in the back as I was about to hit another guy.

To me thats just part of the game... I get hit alot when I am in the corner and laying down to see feet and knees. Though I do hate it though when someone tries to use me as an extra bunker, cause it seems that I get lit up on both sides then.

But as for the original post -- Bunker jumping in Rec is just dangerous. Good way to break you leg or land on some unsuspecting player. I would probably have had you sit out a game and given you a warning. Unless what you did was really dangerous I would not pull your pass. Lets face it, the paying customers pay my salary... If I threw them all out for minor stuff, I would be unemployed.
