when I was playing woodsball the other day I had an idea I was gonna try but decided not too

my idea was just to stand up and walk, with my arms slumped down towards the opposite team right upto them (pointblank range), point my marker at them and say "your dead" so they have to surrender

I dont mean holding your gun in the air and walking cos that would be cheating, I mean just walking with your marker facing the floor - and if they dont shoot you then, well, they should know better !

lol think it would work?

yeah its called the "dead man's walk" it works with seasoned players but with noobs...they probably will just shoot you.

Why would it work with seasoned players but not with noobs? I would think it would be the other way around. Although I am a noob but I would just shoot him for the he!! of it because he's out in the open and doesn't have his marker up.

Becaus seasoned players see that walk and know hes out...where noobs would just see someone and shoot them...out or not.

exactly...people who have played alot know that some players don't call hit when they are out...noobs usually shoot like crazy at the first person they see and/or don't know what the walk means

No, it doesn’t work with seasoned players. Most seasoned players are smart enough to know that people are lying sob’s and we keep a bead on them until they call themselves out and put their barrel plug in. N00bs typically fall for it, and get a shot to the back for their ignorance.

MY local feild banned it, pretty much they tell everyone that if someone doesnt have their barrel condom on or are holding their gun over their head, then they are fair game (unless their a ref). Ive seen a few guys do it, it only works once per day because after the first time everyone will be on watch for it

Bah cmon guys just play the game regular. All these weird tactics like putting your finger on your barrel to curve balls. Wiping etc...

putting your finger on your barrel to make the balls curve? never heard that one. I think the paint would just break. And if it does work, by all means let MY opponent do it. He would be horribly innacurate. And wiping isnt a tactic, its just plain cheating.

this is a tactic ...last i heard it was called cheating i always thought a tactic was flanking etc.

Lol, one guy surrenders then you get bonus balled by the other 5 guys. Then, every other game, you get bonus balled when you're out because no one trusts you.

why dont you just call time out, lay on the ground screaming your ass off, yelling "OHH MY GOD, THE BONE, THE BONE!!! AHHH!!!" When everyone huddles around you to see whats up, start to get up and craw/limp away, dragging your gun, when you're about 10-15 feet away say "time in" and shoot the hell out of them. DUHH!!!! lol

that wont work with anyone in our woodsball group. if you are walking at the other team 99% of the time you arent walking where people who are shot walk... the shape and layout of the field help with this. AND if you ever did get away with it... you would be a hunted man "dead or alive" for a long time... even if you are out, you will repeatedly get your body pummeled by pbs from all directions ;-)

im pretty sure if you are screaming your ass off and holding your leg in aching pain yelling time out, they will probly hold the game
besides, this is "woodsball sneaky tactic," and pretty much all the time in woodsball you're playing with friends, so if they just shoot you when you're dieing on the ground... then somethings up.

well thats just something they are going to have to live with.
Just make sure you have a faster marker so you can say...
"IF ANY ONE OF YOU MOTHER ****ERS SO MUCH AS AIMS YOUR SLOW ASS GUNS AT ME, I'LL UNLOAD ALL OF MY 25bps RIGHT IN YOUR CROTCH!!!"
that should solve most of the after-math problems, and then after that day at school, you can just laugh it off with them.
