Funny Shaped Fields
I just played on an "L" shaped field. it was a little strange frankly, the normal rules regarding trying to flank the other team hold true but the shape of the field means that the other team can predict which way you're going to flank.
In terms of cover and stuff it was a good field, it had lots of mediem density undergrowth, not to many bramble and shallow ditches, as well as the obligatory trees.
The objective was to get the flag into the enemies base at the top of the hill, or if you didn't start with the flag, to sieze the flag and carry it back to your base.
The first round was kinda slow, basically everyone pinned each other down and no one moved except one guy on my team who managed to get to the foot of the hill by hiding in a ditch not much deeper than your average gutter.
The second roudn (roles reversed) was much better. They tried to push our left flank and get an angle on the trenches from which we were supressing their flag carriers, but we pinned them down and gradually eliminated them one by one.
Anyway, what odd shaped fields have you played on?
