I live in a small town in southern az, how small???
Biggest building= safeway
Downtown=safeway

When some buddies and i go out to paintball, there are 2 places...
-a bumpy wash with a bunch of bushes
-a car junkyard with a bunch of bushes

Both are kinda cool (junkyard is better, i think) i guess, but there is one MAYJOR problem... THE FREAKING BUSHES!!! you cannot go 3 feet w/o hitting a bush
Now most of you guys have played in the woods, you may think it sucks but its millions of times better than bushes

-Bush (n) a small tree that has a bunch of prickers and sucks ass for paintballing, its about 4 feet high and you cant shoot through it
-Bush (pn) a complete freaking retard in the White House

Now dont say, "Why dont you flank them or charge them w/ your team?" actually guys, if we flank or charge, it would make no difference, like i said, you cannot go 3 feet w/o hitting a bush so they can easly turn around and be protected by another bush.

The ONLY way to hit someone is if they run out in the middle of a plain and take a nap.

Have any of you played in the desert?
Anyone have any ideas on a simple cheap coarse we could construct?

I know exactly what your talking about. I have friends in phoenix and we stomped around arizona for like a week. We found this perfect cactus on the side of the road. It was like the fake ones you see on TV or something. Anyways, we all got out and took a pic, and I was wearing sandles, and I kinda picked up too much speed going down the hill and stepped inone of those god forsaken bushes. Got like 30 prickles stuck in my foot and ankle.

I used to live in Phoenix,Arizona And those bushes are so freaking annoying and a pain in the @$$! and they are so high that you can't shoot over them but they are also so thick you can't see throguth them. Make your own course, loook for those inflatable bunkers on the internet or something. Hope this helps.

bring out some saws and axe's and cut a bunch of them down, leaving some in strategic locations for playing in. the woods here are soo thick, i spent 2 weeks straight after school cutting certain trees, i have blisters, and a cool woodsball field to show for it.

Why did you clear out a woodsball field? Its woodsball goddamnit. I hate it when they rip down all teh trees and bushes and put man made bunkers up. Sometimes its fun to use a thick patch of bush for a bunker, or a few large trees. If done right, you can hide behidn a few skinny small trees.
